“Look at me,” Jisung asks in a soft tone, but Minho absolutely cannot do this — he can’t see Jisung’s face like that, between his legs, in the light of his glowing marks that will only highlight Jisung’s glistening lips. “Oh, love, what makes you so shy?”

    “You’re— between my legs, Jisung.”

“I think it’s the best place to be,” he even dares to smirk, and maybe Minho can’t see it, but oh does he feel it.

(Alt: Everyone knows that elves have beautiful face marks that come from nature and glow during ritual nights, but few get to see their other marks. Minho’s marks are on his inner thighs, and maybe he is a bit insecure about that, but oh does his human boyfriend love them. Or, a story about making love for the first time, overcoming fears and maybe about stars, too.)

    “Something like what?”

“Something like…” Jisung pushed his sleeves up. His skin prickled instantly, though not from cold. “Like tying someone. Lightly. Just the wrists. In front. Nothing serious.”

Minho blinked, skeptical surprise flickering across his features. But he didn’t speak until Jisung looked up and met his gaze. When Jisung’s dark eyes didn’t waver, Minho exhaled slowly.

“You want to practice bondage… on me?”

Jisung nodded, face still unreadable but flushed at the edges.

“I’ve been reading things. Watching,” he added quickly, “instructional stuff. Safe stuff. And I think I need to try it with someone. And I trust you.”

That last part seemed to land the hardest. Minho leaned back, rubbing the back of his neck. “Well shit,” he murmured, a ghost of amusement threading into the moment. “I’ve never been someone’s guinea pig before.”

    “You don’t have to—”

“No, Jisung-ah,” Minho cut in gently, suddenly with all clarity. “It’s okay. I’m not uncomfortable. Just… surprised. You don’t usually ask for things like this.”

Jisung’s breath left him with a laugh that trembled like spun glass. “That’s ‘cause I don’t usually want things like this.”

    Summary

“Look, we don't have to if you don't want to. I remember what you said the last time we saw each other. I can walk myself back home right now, just say the word,” Jisung says, worrying his lower lip between his teeth. A nervous tick, Minho notes.

He considers it for a moment – sending Jisung home – but then he would have gained nothing from all of this. But he also doesn't want to lead the guy on.

“You should know I wear hearing aids,” Minho blurts, an attempt to sabotage. This is the part where Jisung will realize Minho isn't worth it. He’ll walk away, Minho is sure of it.

"I know. Chan-hyung told me,” Jisung says, “I don't care about that– or well, I do, but– you make it sound like it’s a dealbreaker–”

    “Because it is.”

    “It's not.”

Jisung's words kill Minho’s argument, leaving Minho staring at him in shock, his mouth hanging open.

    or:

After years of accepting that he’ll never be enough for a relationship, Minho feels relieved when he doesn't receive a soulmate mark. That is, until he meets Jisung — another person without a mark, who makes him question everything he thought he wanted.

    Summary

Jisung finally moves to sit up, facing Minho with the most intense scrutiny he thinks he’s ever been under. Deserved scrutiny, he reminds himself. He just asked Jisung for his best friend’s soul.

“You’ll be nice to him?” Jisung hiccups, holding Minho’s gaze in his, even while the Grim Reaper silently nods.

    “He’ll be safe?”

    “Always.”

“Will you tell him I love him, and that I’m sorry?”

Minho’s heart threatens to jump in his throat, but he still nods anyway, “of course.”

    -----

OR: Jisung is a mortal who has just suffered a terrible loss, refusing to believe it’s all truly over. Minho has been the Grim Reaper for the past 300 years helping troubled souls officially ‘move on,’ but is now facing the end of the time given to him to complete the fated love clause required in his work contract. What happens when Jisung refuses to let the dead stay dead, and Minho has a hard time saying no? Probably a lot of talk about souls and lesser demons. A story of love and loss and friendship, set under the red-tinged sky of the underworld.

    Summary

In a world divided by Sea, Land and Sky, the realms thrive in isolation. Their kings and queens, consumed with ruling their own domains, have forgotten the fragile balance that once bound them together. Beneath the surface of their grandeur, rot spreads—wings weaken, shifters falter, and the waters darken.

The task of restoring harmony lies with the heirs of the realms: the Son of Sea, the Son of Land, and the Son of Sky. Once, their titles carried purpose, a sacred duty now lost to time. Can they mend what is broken before their worlds—and themselves—fade into ruin?

    ~

Minho rose slowly, clutching the tuning fork. “I summoned you, Son of Sea,” he said, his voice steady despite the pounding of his heart. “I need your help."

The mer prince tilted his head, studying the fae with an expression that danced between curiosity and disdain. Amusement flickered across his face, a sharp edge beneath its surface.
“Help?” he echoed, the word laced with mockery. “Are you sure you’re up for that, Son of Sky?”

Minho’s throat tightened as he gulped. He wasn’t sure—he wasn’t sure of anything anymore.
    But retreat wasn’t an option.

“I suppose I’m not really the boss of you, anyway.”

“Eh,” Minho agrees, airy, “technically, no.” Then he is silent, until, “Not like you’ve tried, though.”

Minho's girlfriend takes him home to spend a summery week on the lake—and to meet her widower dad.

Minho had never learned to swim. At all. Like an axe thrown into the water, he would just tense up and sink straight to the bottom. Ironically, he lived in a coastal town where everything screamed of the sea, and hunted for treasures cast up by the tide… Until the tide nearly took him instead.

    Heavens. That can't be good.

(OR: Vampire Academy AU | Jisung has spent centuries learning the balance between the title of the Crown Prince and the nature of a vampire. That balance shatters a mere handful of sunsets before he is due at Bloodthorne Academy. A curse, they call it. A thirst so savage it tears through his power, leaves him trembling and weak. His only salvation? Minho. A mortal. A common thief.)

    Summary

“The question isn’t whether this is all I’ve got,” Minho whispers, his fingers roaming around the edge of Jisung’s shirt to play with it, slightly. “It’s whether you can take it.”

The hand in front of Jisung’s cock is what snaps him out of it.

The thought, ‘I’m so deep in my dry spell that this will probably get me hard’ triggers the slight niggling in the back of his mind that it would be bad. Why would it be bad? Minho’s attractive and Jisung—

Is meant to be a good Christian boy.

    OR

Wanting to avoid court, Minho is shipped off to The Red Sea Academy when his parents find out he deals drugs. The institute promises to guide ‘troubled young men’ such as himself through their transition to adulthood with God, but it’s not faith Minho finds on his first day.

He finds Han Jisung, a devout Christian who’s maybe too acquainted with the Devil for a priest’s liking.

    Summary

“I think you’re lying, all the time. I think you think about me too.”

Jisung is close again, in a place he should never have entered. A place Minho had willingly opened to him, luring him into his den. A wolf trapping an unsuspecting lamb; pretty, blinking up at him with trembling eyes. Trembling eyes, but a steady, manly voice. Half a man; apparently more of one than Minho himself.

“Because I do think about you, professor Lee.”

For the sake of his less-than-likely redemption, Minho wants to think he’s not the one who bridges the distance. For the sake of his poor, rotten soul, he decides to think it’s Jisung who leans in further. And if his own back is no longer touching the wood of his chair, and he’s leaning over the desk just barely, then it’s a secret between him and hell.

Or Professor Minho shouldn’t fall for his new research assistant and his sweet, sad, angry eyes. He still does.
