So I set out to write a one-shot, but some folks liked it and wanted Peter's viewpoint, so I had to write that.

After that I had to know how it actually turned out, so I wrote an epilogue that ended up longer than either of the two original stories.

Then I was really done! Except I was rereading old Deadpool comics and then Cable wanted to check on his boy DP, and I keep coming up with scenes for their messed up relationship. So I keep adding to it.

I've no idea where this will finish and it's 50/50 in my head still whether they are together, broken up, or Peter's dead at the end of this.
