Summary
“Don’t cry, Dimitri,” Claude had whispered, “You’re safe. You are safe.” Dimitri had known, then, that he was real. None of his hallucinations had ever tried to comfort him. No one had ever comforted him but Claude, and Claude was here, and he was real-!
In that moment, Dimitri had shattered like a broken vase filled with water. The tears ran over and they wouldn’t stop, couldn’t stop. Like a vase, once it was cracked, everything spilled out all at once. But Claude had held him, held him and rocked him in his arms and shushed him to sleep, just like he had that night all those years ago…
----
After the events of Verdant Wind, a discovery made in the ruins of Shambhala changes the course of the future for a pair of runaway princes.

Summary
“I’m not real?” Dimitri’s double scoffed. “How dare you? I’m the most authentic version of you that there has ever been. Tried to keep me chained down, locked away inside your mind… but I have always been there, deep inside. Feeling everything you masked from the world around you… screaming inside your head, just waiting to be unleashed. You know it is true. You know that I am who you really are.”
----
The worst nightmares were the ones where he was trapped with himself.

Summary
“…have I walked blindly into one of your fantasies, Dima?” Claude asked, playing coy, but Dimitri didn’t let his fiancé catch him off guard like that.
“You don’t walk blindly into anything, Khalid,” he said, and using his fiancé’s real name had an effect. He saw Claude’s breath catch in his throat. “You commissioned the outfits, and you sauntered out here like this. You had to have at least some idea in your head as to how this might…”
“Turn you on?”
----
Dimitri asks Claude to teach him a thing or two about Almyra. Claude's fashion lessons end with a bit more than he bargained for.

Summary
It took Felix a moment to move, but when he did he turned to look at Dimitri in surprise. “You… want me to… brawl with you?” He dragged out the words in disbelief. Dimitri nodded earnestly. Why was Felix looking at him like it was a bad idea?
“Why not?” Dimitri asked. “It’ll let you match your strength against mine on even footing. And don’t deny yourself, I know you’ve been dying to punch me for years.”
----
Dimitri just wants to help Felix learn how to use the Crest of Blaiddyd.

Summary
It wasn’t like there was anything particularly wrong with it. Dancing naked in the moonlight was certainly much more scandalous than anything else in the ceremony. Being dressed and fed by his consort in front of a crowd would be awkward for Dimitri, likely, but Claude wasn’t particularly modest and they’d get through it together. But the part Claude hadn’t mentioned, the part that he knew would upset Dimitri the most, had nothing to do with the cultural differences between Almyra and Fodlan and everything to do with Dimitri’s own limits.
“You didn’t tell me that they were going to light you on fire."
----
There was a lot Dimitri didn’t know about the upcoming coronation.

Summary
Khalid wanted their Almyran wedding to be everything Dimitri dreamed it could be, and so he had given Dimitri full autonomy when it came to the aesthetic decisions.
Why he had done that, Dimitri would never know.
Khalid knew him better than anyone else in the world, which meant he had to know that Dimitri had no head for fashion, no sense for design or anything else that warranted him being in charge of such a thing besides the fact that he was, technically, the bride. When it came down to it, Dimitri couldn’t care less about the decorations. All that mattered to him was being at his husband’s side, taking their vows for a second time here in Almyra so that no one in the world could call their union into question.
Their private little ceremony which wed them in Fodlan had been so much simpler than this…

Summary
Khalid glared up at Dimitri, his green eyes sparking with his fury. Dimitri’s features remained impassive and Khalid wished he would do something, say something, shout back at him but Dimitri looked completely aware of what he’d done and completely remorseless for it, too. It floored Khalid, honestly, as he tried to reconcile the image of this blood-covered warrior with the sight of his husband from last night, smiling softly and holding a lion cub in his arms. They were the same person – Khalid had known for a long time that Dimitri had a darker side but perhaps he had been naïve in believing he had tamed it out of Dimitri. He had definitely been foolish to believe that, he realized now as he watched Dimitri dripping blood onto the floor of their bedroom.
“Will you apologize to me?” Khalid asked, because it had to be asked.
“No,” Dimitri answered. “I am not sorry.”

When an assassin nearly takes King Khalid's life, his consort Dimitri takes justice into his own hands.

Summary
Claude’s mouth was set in a grim line as he read the hastily written note once, twice. It was undoubtedly his Teach’s handwriting, but Claude could tell from the way some of the letters squiggled and scrawled across the page that it had been written with great speed and little care for formality. Even the way it was addressed told him as much – it was written to ‘Claude.’ Not ‘King Khalid.’ ‘Claude.’
“What’s going on, kiddo?” Nader asked at his side, and Claude took a deep breath to steady himself before he spoke.
“Fodlan is under attack. Garreg Mach is under siege,” he reported. “The Agarthans have resurfaced once more.” Claude looked to Nader. “The Empress calls for our aid.”

Summary
It had been far too long since the two of them had gotten out of the Palace for anything besides meetings with Warlords or state visits to Fodlan and being quite honest, Claude was sick of it. Going out looking for a wild wyvern might not have been his first choice for a vacation but it was the one he had been presented with and he had leapt at the chance for a few days out of the castle and exploring the countryside alone with Dimitri.
Everything about the excursion would have been perfect, too, if it weren't for an old fear rearing its head to strike...
----
EDIT: Now with chapter two, featuring fluff and cuddles and wyvern snuggle piles.

Summary
“Goddess,” Dimitri said, while Dedue pulled his ears flat against his skull and did a lion cub’s best attempt at a roar in response to the noise. Claude, ears ringing, sat up.
“I’ve gotta go see him,” he decided, and Dimitri just sighed.
“Nader said-”
“I know what Nader said,” Claude interrupted, pouting. “That’s my brother out there, Dima…” he said, rolling out of bed to throw a robe over his nightclothes and find his sandals, slipping his feet in quickly and doing up the straps in record time. “He’s sad…”
