Tsukishima plans a proposal. A thousand things go wrong before he actually gets around to proposing, but he manages to get lucky a thousand times over.

Kageyama turned to stare at Hinata. “Why would you ever need a guardian angel?”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“If anyone needs a guardian, it’s him,” Yamaguchi sighed. He takes a sip of water.
Or, Kageyama has a guardian demon that teaches him to be selfish. Hinata has a guardian angel that keeps him from dying. And for some reason, Hinata’s angel absolutely despises Kageyama’s demon.

Summary
“You said you didn’t really like my movies, right?”
Yamaguchi gives him a funny little smile. “I like them,” he says. “But I’ve also been in character design for nearly ten years.”
“So?”
“So, watching your movies is like…” he pauses, thinking. “It’s like eating cake, but someone baked a rock into it. It was delicious until you ate that one bite, and then it’s very difficult to finish the rest of the cake.”
Tsukishima tries very hard to not laugh at the analogy. “Ah.”
Or, Tsukishima is a esteemed director dissatisfied with the movies he’s been creating, who’s taken on a “wild card” project to shake things up. Yamaguchi is the Character Designer that doesn’t just shake things up, but turns his life up on its head.

Summary
“I was interested in quite a few subjects as a kid.” Tsukishima glances up at him and grins. “Or, I was what you’d call a nerd.”
“Ah, I would’ve assumed that from the glasses.” Yamaguchi gives him a small grin back. “I was a bit of a delinquent, myself.”
“The cat and the flower shop were a dead giveaway.”
Or, Yamaguchi visits his local tattoo parlor intending to get another tattoo, but instead gets a boyfriend. A thorough (but not entirely foolproof) guide to getting your own cute tattoo artist boyfriend!

Summary
“Hey, you aren’t dating Kageyama, right?”
Yamaguchi stops short and turns around to stare at him. “Wait, what?”
“Are you dating Kageyama?”
Yamaguchi stares at him even harder. “Hinata,” he says slowly. “I have a boyfriend. Remember?”
Hinata’s elusive college roommate has a “boyfriend” who “studies abroad” and “doesn’t have any social media or anything, he’s camera shy”. Hinata’s not buying it. But Yamaguchi doesn’t seem like the type to lie about this kind of stuff, so what’s really going on?

Summary
Yamaguchi looked up from his computer. “Hinata, Yachi,” he says slowly. “What’s this?”
“A gay dating show,” Hinata says. “I knew you’d get in.”
“Why on earth would you sign me up for a gay dating show?”
Yachi doesn’t even look up. “Because I’m a lesbian and can’t do it myself."
Or, Yamaguchi loses a bet and joins a gay dating show. Of course, the contestants are all rich, famous, funny, and so on, but Yamaguchi finds that the one that catches his eye is the host, the mysterious Tsukishima Kei.

Summary
“So what’s the plan, boss?”
Kei brushed off the front of his clothes before opening up the file. “Tadashi hasn’t come home with an injury in years, and this fucker thinks he can get away with it.” He looked up, making eye contact with everyone in the room. “But he won’t. And we’re going to make sure that no one even dares to try again.”
Kei is a retired Yakuza boss, but then his husband comes home after a botched mission. So, of course, Kei goes on a mission to make sure that everyone knows not to lay a finger on Tadashi. And accidentally adopts a kid while he’s at it.
