The third time it happens, there's something different about the situation that's out of his control. It leaves him eager for something new.

Summary
Tadashi is stressed, and whenever he gets so tense there’s at least one coping mechanism that has worked every time, one that he and Ainosuke both enjoy. It goes wrong this time. Very wrong.
Tags are not a mistake; there’s initial enthusiastic consent (both to the drugs & to the sex) that becomes dubious consent due to the way things shake out. Sorry, Tadashi. Also sorry, Ainosuke.

Summary
Tadashi sits in a waiting room. The chair is uncomfortable, and only makes him want to be anywhere else more than he already did, even though Ainosuke is sitting in the chair next to him. A white noise machine in the corner whirs quietly. Other than the receptionist, the room has no other people in it. Perhaps if he gets up fast enough, he can run away before Ainosuke reacts. Of course, that’s operating under the assumption that Ainosuke isn’t already prepared for that, and he’s sure that that’s not the case.

Tadashi—at Ainosuke's request—tries therapy for a second time, though this time on his own instead of risking repeating a previous bad experience where they tried couple's therapy. He's not confident that it's going to help, or that he's going to manage to go to more than one session, but everyone has to start somewhere.
A fic that is mostly just the therapy sessions themselves. There will be some scenes of Tadashi's life with Ainosuke outside of them, because therapy doesn't end when you leave the office, but they're focused on Tadashi and his feelings and experiences.

Tadashi's homework from his therapist this week was simple: explain to Ainosuke that he's in a touch-averse episode, and set boundaries around it. He's planned it down to every word he's going to say and how he thinks Ainosuke is going to respond. It doesn't go according to plan.

Summary
There's a part of Tadashi that has never been able to feel at peace for all of the guilt he carries around his past. He can't relax despite it having been a long while since he was with anyone other than Ainosuke, even with all of the reassurances he's been given, because wanting to be only Ainosuke's didn't ever change the reality of his situation before. Those reassurances don't reach the ears of his coworkers now or stop their wandering hands as they brush past him at the various mandatory gatherings.

Last week, Tadashi behaved in a way that wasn't up to Aiichiro's standards for him. He's given an opportunity to rectify this by apologising to each person he disappointed, one by one, over the course of a day. He does his best to make Master Shindo proud.

Summary
Tadashi has felt on edge and unreal for too many days. When Ainosuke sends him off to run errands during the day, he takes the opportunity to go purchase the same tobacco and papers that he bought for years for his former boss. Without any of the self-restraint he prides himself on, it quickly gets out of hand, and backfires.

Summary
Tadashi knows that he’s failed to meet expectations with something new to him, but when he shows up to be punished by Aiichiro for it the last thing he expected was to see Ainosuke. They both have a long night ahead of them.
(Please note I am using “trauma bonding” in the way it’s used in psychology, which is a specific bond in which the victim feels a connection to or sympathy for their abuser, in this case as a result of a cycle of abuse with rewards sprinkled in.
Mild Spoilers: The implied drug use is partially on-screen, but is not realised by the narrator to be drug use. I have tagged Aiichiro/Ainosuke and Parent/Child Incest because of certain events in the fic, but they are presented as being a one-night type of thing primarily to cause Tadashi distress.)Series
