Summary
A freak rainstorm hits Dubai and Louis’s mind is suddenly flooded with lines from an old poem, triggering a memory of him and Lestat from when he was still human.
Armand says nothing of it, despite the fact that he is in the same room with him at the time. Because he’s too focused on the call to prayer to read Louis’s mind.
Realising that there is a gap in Armand’s watch, Louis determines to break the penthouse ban on literature in increasingly risky ways. It all goes well until Armand finds out.
