Summary
France vs Japan in the U20 World Cup
It was their first encounter, neither of them having exchanged so much as a word before. And yet Hugo understood Isagi perfectly, knew that he was one of those unnatural people fighting against destiny, struggling in vain when there was nothing they could change.
Hugo found it sad because he saw the potential Isagi had, the potential to rise to number two just like him. They shared the same sharp brain capable of dissecting the pitch with precise cuts, to understand it as no one else could. All Isagi had to do to achieve greatness was to stop struggling and swim with the stream, not against it.
Or

Rounding the corner, ironically enough, he stumbled over the very individual he desired recognition from, although that should be all but impossible.
“Yoichi,” Hugo breathed, the flicker of emotion in his voice noticeable to those who cared to listen. "What are you doing here?"

“If I put the character aside, then I was just kissed by a tall and hot guy who is exactly my type. I would be pretty dumb if I pushed him away, right?”
Hugo breathed heavily, absorbing that piece of information. Then he leaned in, his cheek brushing Isagi's before he whispered directly into the other's ear.
“And how far do you think this guy could go if you continue to ignore his character?”
Isagi hummed. “Good question. Why don't you find it out?”

Suddenly, Yoichi stopped his tirade, seemingly realising something.
“Hugo?” he called out again. “Are you even here?”
No response. Hugo stayed silent behind Yoichi, holding out exactly one second before he couldn't contain himself anymore. He crossed the distance between them and then...

“As a matter of fact, I'm not going to celebrate with my team. Instead, I will celebrate today's victory with Isagi Yoichi.”
Murmurs broke out at that revelation. “That's... rather surprising.”
“I imagine it is, but seeing as there was no gain from winning this match, Isagi and I made a bet shortly before the match began.”
“A bet?”
“Indeed. Whoever wins today's match has to treat the winner to dinner.”

“Say, Yoichi,” Vivian murmured, his voice a hushed whisper as he perceived the other man below him with a glance through half-lidded eyes. “Whenever one of those unsuitable vultures asks you whether you're in a relationship or not, do you think about me?”

“Less talking, Yoichi,” came from the other man, who shifted his posture, turning his head so that he could look at him with one void-like eye, silently demanding more than he was given.
“More fucking?” Yoichi added with a question in his voice, wanting to gauge Vivian's reaction when faced with his bluntness.

Summary
The dismay he felt over the fact that he was a dead man standing today was all but forgotten; his every thought now solely resting on the body lying on the other side of their bed.
Moonlight filtering through the window from the outside world got caught on strands of burgundy, each strand looking like the flowing wave of a beautiful wildfire. The soft hair glittered beneath the soft glow of the heavenly body, looking all shiny and mesmerising.

Like that, with fish mouth and all, his face was twisted back, leaving him no choice but to stare in the dark gaze of his husband again.
“Is this what has been bothering you throughout the past week?”

Summary
The darkness stretched through every room, including the bed chamber and there, despite it being the middle of the night, its silence was broken. The air inside spoke of something intimate, a special bond shared between the residents. The noises from inside spoke the same language, saturated with equal love and passion. Then, there was also-
“Haah....ahhhhh...nnggh.” A panting voice suddenly broke through the calm of the night, quickly followed by not one but two other voices, both groaning for a shared reason.

“Fuck this meddling jerk! Fuck this damn freak! Fuck everything!” He spat beneath the ongoing shower, the burning hot water icy cold when compared to his blazing wrath about the end of the game.
“An interesting suggestion, Isagi Yoichi,” a calm and composed voice replied, appearing out of nowhere in response to his angry outburst.

Summary
A gamble with only right and wrong, left or right.
Vivian made his choice, believed in his destiny that would lead him to victory against Yoichi. Destiny was always right, so it couldn't fail, and neither could he, for he was the one trusting in it more than anyone else, becoming destiny's chosen one. Failure was impossible for him because destiny was never wrong, always right.
Yet, Yoichi didn't care, ignoring his preordained destiny. It was unsuitable in Vivian's eyes, so there was no way he could lose, not against someone like him.
But he did, his destiny not enough to conquer Yoichi's hunger and ego.
