“Hi,” Seungmin says, and Jisung feels a strange kind of warmth at the sound of his voice. Safety. It feels like safety.

“Do you wish I…” Jeongin’s throat feels dry.
“It’s not about what I wish,” Chan cuts him off. “What I think doesn’t matter. But I know how pregnancies are being treated in our industry, and I want to make sure that nobody’s trying to influence your decision.”
Jeongin should just say ‘it’s my decision’ and end the subject, but something is stopping him. A bitter feeling deep inside him, telling him that Chan is going to resent him for what he’s about to do.

For Chan, it was panic. Searching for him underwater. Algae clinging to his face, obstructing his sight. Trying to move them out of the way, so desperate to see.
So desperate to find him.
