“What do you think,” Shouto slams Katsuki into the brick, fingers snatching at the fabric of his suit. He gets close, gets real fucking close and whispers into the filthy line of Katsuki’s jaw. “The other Heroes would say if they caught us like this?”
Katsuki grits his teeth. “Like what. Me getting ready to knock your teeth in?”
“My hand in your pants and you whining like a bitch is more of what I was referring to, actually.” Shouto presses his lips to Katsuki’s neck again and again, snatching at the sensitive patches of skin between his teeth, hard enough to tug a hiss from him. “But sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night, sweetheart.”

(It’s just quiet moments that get him. Because his quiet moments are when Shouto would be the loudest. And the quiet doesn’t sit right with Katsuki anymore. Not without the unease of Shouto’s typical eerie humming to break it.)

Shouto squeezes his hand and Katsuki doesn’t squeeze back. He thinks that he should but he doesn’t see the point. Finds that he can’t. And he thinks putting in energy to do it would make him more tired than he feels. Katsuki swallows. And he stays silent. And Shouto squeezes and squeezes his hand and Katsuki does not squeeze back.

“Mmn,” the hands on Shouto’s chest are pushing him deeper and he feels warmer. It’s better like this. “No.”
“No?” Bakugou says. He sounds like he’s laughing a little. Shouto doesn’t know what’s funny.
“No,” Shouto whispers again. “I feel good like this.”
“I fucking bet you do,” Bakugou says and it’s soft in a way that shouldn’t fit Bakugou. But it does. It fits him. He says, “But you’re dissociating, Halfie. I need your feet on the floor.”
Oh, Shouto thinks. That’s what this is called.
Or, Shouto’s struggling, and Katsuki gets it.

It’s a little inconvenient burying one of Katsuki’s fresh kills the late night of Valentine’s, but he doesn’t think Shouto minds.

“Hide,” Todoroki says.
And then, both his left and right sides burst into flames.
Or: Todoroki suffers and the only thing Katsuki can do is watch.
