I feel I should point out that I hate to write characters with accents, I feel that sometimes it can take you out of a story as your brain is having to decipher so many phonetic words in a sentence. It is however, just my personal preference and I certainly don't think any less of writers who do include that in their dialogue. For me, I think that we all know what Daryl sounds like well enough that I don't need to slip in more than the occasional word here and there.
