ALTR 114209 has, supposedly, been contained by IRIS.
With such a powerful and dangerous entity in their grasp, their team of researchers get to work on figuring out exactly what makes him tick, the biological mechanisms that allow him to function, and how his abilities work. But the research becomes an ever-more pressing race against time after ALTR 114209's influence starts to take hold.
Feat. IRIS biochemical researcher reader insert. Crossover with MCU (Markiplier Cinematic Universe) because I cannot write a fic without my favourite guy. (I.e. Dark is also here because I said so.)
[This entire fic is basically an excuse to nerd out about my extremely extensive headcanons about Anti's biochemistry and functionality, fusing the old school glitch ideas with newer information from the comics - which are still only just coming out at the time of posting this, so said headcanons may swiftly become outdated and disproved. But until then, we have fun.]

But, after finding and breaking into the sketchy company called IRIS, he finds out that sometimes, magic CAN be given…well, forcefully.
Now, after being alone for years, he is forced to come to terms with his past and learn to heal, along with the other people that escaped IRIS.
But it won’t be that easy.
IRIS refuses to give up when they learn that their former ‘subject’ is still alive after all these years.
