However, he knew that it had to do with shadows from the quiet snippets Technoblade would tell him when asked and because when he walked home alone, the shadows would follow him until he made it inside safely (he had freaked out the first time that happened before Technoblade had explained it was just him making sure his healer got home safely.)
It seemed enough that Tommy could handle it for a few days so that Technoblade would be okay.
"Fuck the protocol. Hang in there 'Blade." Tommy whispered before placing his hands on the bloodied fabric of Technoblade's shirt.

If it had been Mirabel, she would have made light of it. She would have tried to distract the kids with a joke or reassure them that of course she wasn’t sad.
But Tio Bruno only stared blankly at the mural for one long moment. He turned to the kids and shrugged again with a wry smile.
“You get used to it,” he said.
