“Oh, gods.” Wilbur kneels beside Phil, holding the lantern closer to Techno. “What in all the hells-”
“Withering,” Phil says grimly. He doesn’t reach for Techno again. “Don’t touch him. Go and get your brother.”
“Please,” Techno sobs. “Please, I didn’t want this, you weren’t supposed to know-”
“Shh, shh, it’s okay mate.” Phil’s voice shakes. “We’re gonna fix this. We can fix it.”Series

Summary
Technoblade was a monster, a warrior, a weapon.
But never a person, much less a child...But when Dream discovers his secret, who he really is, the admin decides to use him as an example for everyone to see what happens to those who don't follow Dream. However, Techno manages to escape and learns to be what he never expected... he learned to be a person, he learned to be a child.

Philza Minecraft was no stranger to waking up from nightmares into a strange sleep-paralysis state. There were many mornings when he woke from his nest and stared for several minutes as horrific images passed over his eyes. He watched them closely, moving fingers, toes, and feathers alike until the heaviness began to fade from his limbs, leaving him with bone-deep exhaustion and jumbled thoughts.
So he was surprised when this nightmare didn’t seem to fade. When he didn’t startle awake to more familiar surroundings and his silent scream to unleash him wasn’t silent at all. His movements were clean and precise, not laden with things he wished he could do, only to realize that he hadn’t moved at all. No, he flung from the nest with a scream echoing out around him, the noise turning pained as his head hit a ceiling that was far lower than he remembered. He pushed above himself, his breath aching with how quickly it escaped him and loose dirt showering around him.

Or, Philza Minecraft wakes up as Technoblade. This is not the most startling realization he has.
