Summary
Connor feels like he’s stuck in a stalemate. Trapped to forever follow his programming to maintain even some semblance of a “normal” life among the humans. Unsure on how to move past his history, he develops some unhealthy habits from some unhealthy “friends,” where he learns deviancy isn’t all sunshine and rainbows as he was promised it would be. Old habits die hard, am I right?

Summary
“Holy shit,” he said, “you really think you can keep up with me, don’t you?”
“I’m not in the habit of being outperformed.”
“Outperformed. Yeah.” The man grinned, dipping his head back. Richard could feel his gaze dragging over him, saw the pink swell of his tongue press against the back of his teeth. Whatever he saw must have been good enough, because he shrugged and gave his head a shake. “Fine. Eight, right? Let’s see how it goes down, you and me, who gets the most on the ground.”

Summary
[Hiatus]
After a peaceful uprising by the androids, Connor brings Markus back to the warehouse in the CyberLife tower. He shows him a prototype android that is described on the system as being Immune to Deviancy. Connor had tried to convert her on the night he woke the entire warehouse of androids, but she remained on her pedestal locked within her programming.
Connor now asks if Markus could take her under his wing, but Markus is a busy man...
How exactly is someone supposed to convert an android made to resist deviancy? Well, if Connor could turn Deviant, then so could she.

"As soon as everyone sat down Rus placed copies of an ad for the android model AP700. Looking at the ad, it read, ‘The AP700 is the latest commercial model of android and is designed to take care of the household. They can cook, care for children, complete everyday tasks, and speak multiple languages.’ It seemed like a pretty basic model of android, could get things done around the house and even cook if no one was up for it that night. Sans is the first to speak up once everyone lowers their papers..."

Summary
Kara is an android, designated RK400, designed to discover and put a stop to the rising cases of deviancy among androids in Detroit.
Markus is an old make of household android, designated AX200, belonging to a household in Corktown, Detroit.
Connor is a prototype model RK800, belonging to a retired high school teacher located at 8941 Lafayette Avenue.
Alternative to onset_cyberpsychosis’ Detroit: Become Swapped - what if the characters were swapped in a slightly different way? Written in collaboration with my author brother in arms, Cyber himself! Reading Detroit: Become Swapped before this is not required, but still recommended, because the fic is amazing 😤

Summary
Hank knows that machines can't care or fear or be hurt. Connor agrees but for some reason that pisses Hank off... There's something not right about CyberLife's involvement with the police and there's something not right about Connor. The sooner he can get rid of him the better.
Connor is finally in beta testing after rigorous optimization and validation. "Outside" is full of colours and smells. People say things that don't mean what they sound like they mean. Androids are meant to make life easier for humans, but not all humans are happy about it. The mission is most important though. Once he has passed beta testing he will be perfect- Amanda said so- therefore he must be perfect to pass beta. He'll finally be good enough and worthy of all of the time and money CyberLife has spent on him.
Also known as Limits (REWRITE): The original (Limits) is still posted but this is now the working copy. The concepts explored are the same, but this is turning out very differently.

It's been a while since you've felt this alive, ironically, as the city is splattered with blood, both red and blue.
You're not one to get up and fight—you're not one to get up at all, really. It's just your luck that you're falling for the leader of the android revolution, when all you realistically have the energy to do is lay in bed and hope the world changes without your help.

Аркадий арендует на Лафайет-авеню особняк, из которого не выходит вот уже несколько лет из-за обострившейся агорафобии. По счастью, он подружился с соседом — но про дружбу с его андроидом речи не шло.

Summary
Hank dives forward, grabbing for the microphone on Tom's headset and pulling it to his mouth. "Our pilot is having a stroke, we're going down, shit..."
And they are, they're plummeting towards the mountains below now, everything that just looked like white nothingness from far above coming into sharper focus. Connor pushes Hank back, throws him into his seat with a sort of decisive strength Hank wouldn't have expected from him. "Get your seatbelt on."
They touch down, the underside of the plane scraping violently against the ground. Hank watches as the tail of the plane is torn clean off, opening everything up around them, the winter winds howling and his ears popping violently. They're moving too fast, sliding down the mountain face with too much velocity.
When they finally hit something that brings them to a stop, it's going to fucking hurt.
~~
Hank Anderson isn't prepared to lay his son to rest, or for the android revolution rising up around him, or for his charter plane to crash and leave him stranded in the mountains. But he especially isn't prepared for Connor.

Hank shoots Connor at CyberLife Tower when he's unable to recall his son's name. Rendered blind, his core systems damaged by the bullet, the android revolution collapses around them without Connor's deviant army marching in to save the day. Hank takes Connor home and tries his best to fix him, but he's left with permanent disabilities that make him depend on Hank.
A year has passed, and Connor has accepted his vision will never be restored, though Hank's determined to keep trying. Fearing he's a damaged, horrifying thing to behold, Connor has kept his feelings for Hank bottled up until an argument brings them to the surface...

Being a prototype is supposed to give him an advantage. VP-006 has been designed to exceed the standards set by human detectives in interrogations, data collection, and scene analysisー with a steely personality to match.
But human adaptation programs fail in the face of Lieutenant El Amari.

See the thing about being treated as a machine your entire life is unabashed freedom can be… for a lack of a better term… scary. Androids are free and if that didn't feel good, well, he'd be lying. Connor just never assumed too much freedom would feel like a bad thing.

Summary
Connor liked to think he was good at his job. He got things done. He worked all the extra hours. He was always trying to be pleasant to be around. Though most of the time, he knew he wasn’t.
Sure, he smoked too much and made a lot of bad decisions in his personal life. But he was a good cop!
Detective work was virtually the only thing he was consistently good at. Or so he had thought, but here was Amanda doing the one thing he’d begged her not to.
As a result, standing in front of Connor was his new partner. An android partner at that.
