Killdroid takes into his own hands a criminal case the goverment hasn't been able to capture yet. Being rogue and defying those people doesn't mean he doesn't have an eye for justice, even if that justice looks like an obsession to anybody else.
He took refuge in a abandoned 'happy home' after he went rogue since he was gonna need a somewhat permanent place to stay if he wanted to actually catch this damn criminal, at least somewhere to put his evidence.
(Warninggg he gets kinda weird about it towards the end, like freaky weird, nothing explicit but like still)

Badware was just KNOWN for being the most judgmental out of everyone.
They nagged at Pursuer for its lexical issues and constant drooling.
They made fun of Artful for randomly speaking French or forgetting words.
They were constantly loud around Harken because they both wanted to be annoying and didn’t think her noise sensitivity was that high, often teasing her for ‘over-exaggerating her issues’.They didn’t say anything about Killdroid, however. Matter of a fact, they always complimented him and called him a friend.
As usual, they simply blamed it on wanting to be buddies, down playing it by naming one of his flaws once it was commented on, shifting the topic, etcetera.
Little did anyone know, feelings were present. Ones that they would call ‘cringe’. Care, admiration…hell, love could be applied here. They developed strong feelings towards that killbot.
Unfortunately though, not everything can go someone’s way. -
