Amelia shook her head with a soft smile. “Moron.”
Lucia kissed her forehead. “Love you too, Querida.”
Amelia kissed her deeply in return, smiling into it and tangling her hair into Lucia’s hair, who gave an intrigued hum at the sudden intensity. She nibbled on Lucia’s bottom lip before trailing up her jaw with kisses, stopping at a flushed ear and tracing the shell of it with a perfectly manicured nail. She felt Lucia shiver at the sudden ghost of hot air on her ear, waiting for her girlfriend to nibble or bite down on it gently like she usually did.
“Suck it loser-“ Amelia whispered, grinning.
Lucia stood there, blinking in stunned silence before Amelia took off running down the hallway, cackling like a madwoman, leaving her without the expected touch she had been waiting for. She snapped back into action, bolting after her.
“Get back here, Blight!” She called, laughing just as hard as they disappeared into the depths of the house, laughter echoing through room to room.
Yeah, Amelia thought. Someday I’m gonna marry that girl.
