You were diagnosed with autism when you were five years old. Your parents had suspected it, but it nonetheless made them unsure of how to take care of you. You dropped out of public school after Kindergarten had finished.
You missed half of the school-year from repeated sickness you picked up from other children that had negligent parents that refused to let them stay home when they were suffering.You had the most trouble with mathematics. Eventually, it went so badly you had panic attacks each time you were faced with a math problem that wasn't simple addition that equaled higher than ten. Your parents gave up schooling you once you were nine.
You walk into a Bitty Center and meet an adorable Bitty that makes your world fall apart around you and rebuild it into something beautiful that makes you want to stay alive.
Something deep inside of your very being, your soul itself, perhaps, told you that this wasn't the last you'd have.Something inside the core of your very soul told you that you would never be alone.
You would have your own bundle full of bitties.

Summary
The world is dying.
Water green with filth and garbage, and the bodies of dead and contaminated fish litter the surface. The air heavy and stinging with pollution and the remaining humans carry what gas mask they can find to breathe clearly. Shelter becomes limited and available food is even scarcer.
Bitties are no longer useful for companionship, as breeding lines are directed to larger, more combat-fit structures as their value and rarity go up. Stranded in the middle of the chaos, Ink escapes the mill just to be thrown into another hell. Every day that drags on brings endless dangers for those he cares about, and they're forced to watch as humanity commits suicide, bringing the planet down with them.
(Bittybones fic not focused on the journey of being seen as more than a pet, and rather the struggles of being an inferior in a world that blends and falls apart at the hands of the superior.)

After weeks of brainstorming, Dust believes he has finally come up with the perfect gift for Nightmare’s birthday. Sure, the guardian of negativity might not exactly like the idea at first, but Dust is sure it’ll work out in the end! He knows how much Nightmare wants the opportunity to talk to his brother without the threat of violence after all. Does it really matter if the only way to get that for him is to shrink Dream down to the size of a five inch tall bitty and trap him in a jar so he won’t be able to escape before the big day? No, he’s certain he won’t regret doing this by the end of the week.
Nightmare just wanted a quiet, relaxing birthday with as little chaos as possible. However as soon as he’s presented with his now tiny brother staring fearfully at him from inside a glass prison, Nightmare realizes this isn’t going to be quite the birthday he imagined...
