Kaladin had to climb around in what is essentially an elevator shaft to make Navani's fabrial glove work in RoW, and the book skims right over just how awkward it must have been for someone that obscenely tall to do fiddly maintenance in a tight space. I have corrected this grievous error, here.

The winch, being shoulder height, should have been easy to turn once he had worked out which gear went to which weight, a pattern that took some trial and error to understand. The problem was that the handle was short enough he had to lean into the shaft for the back part of the circular movement, and cramming his upper body between the weights and the crank had him contorting his torso in a distinctly uncomfortable fashion.
Syl giggled. “I’ve never seen a human stand like that before, you look so silly!” She zipped in front of him and mimicked his twisted posture while he arranged the weights to his liking.
“Humans don’t normally stand like that because it’s storming uncomfortable,” he said, standing back up straight in the hallway and twisting his back until it popped. “Whoever designed this thing must have been really short, I can’t imagine doing maintenance on it regularly.”

Kaladin is struggling with his growing responsibilities associated with his new appointment. New nightmares haunt his dreams and strange new abilities are an unravelling mystery as he draws closer to his fifth ideal.
Despite being in the middle of a war and Jah Keved royalty wanting to wed him, Kaladin finds himself slowly falling for someone else. Unwilling to jeopardise the fragile peace with Jah Keved their romance is instead kept secret.
Unfortunately, Kaladin never really was very good at deception.
When it is finally time to come clean Kaladin discovers he isn’t the only one keeping secrets. Hearing that he has a long-lost family member Kaladin seeks them out to reconnect but only time will tell if this was a blessing or a curse.
