Summary
Blitz was used to chaos, he really was. Blood on his clothes, multiple people trying to kill him from all different directions, blowing brains off, he was good at that kind of thing. But this kind? He never got used to the type of chaos that forces you to talk, or the one where at least you should try to.
Stolas and him stopped talking a week and a half ago, over some stupid misunderstanding that kept them yelling at each other for hours before that. They still had to share the living room together, still co–existed just fine, so they were still together. Just not really.
Either way, none of that mattered now because Loona was yelling at him on the phone to come back to the office right now because Stolas had collapsed on the floor. Panic took not even a second to set in, and guilt was eating away at his bones.

Fizz pushed out of Blitz's hold and slipped through the curtain, and the growl cut off into a squeal. "Fizzie!"
"Ozzie!"
Blitz leaned against the wall, grinning, holding his arm against his bruised ribs. He could just see Fizz and Asmodeus through the crack in the curtains. Fuck, he was beat to shit, and all he could smell for a few long moments was blood and smoke that clung to his clothes, then the faintest hint of lavender. It was practically a Pavlovian response, the way Blitz's muscles loosened.
Wait, lavender--?
The curtains fluttered open, and Blitz felt like he'd been shot directly in the chest, because standing there, frozen, beak open, was Stolas, gripping his stupid top hat and all four eyes wide and trained on Blitz's beat-up form.
"Stolas?"

The rewrite of the first work in the series. Loona and Octavia are both 17 in this AU. Fizzarolli is 23 in this AU, Blitz is 28 and Stolas, Millie and Moxxie are all 31. In this AU, Stolas is arrested, along with I.M.P., since it's about his relationship with Blitz, not the illegal use of the grimoire. Satan lied about not only being in/ruling Hell before Lucifer, but that there was a law forbidding cross-class relationships. For this reason, both Ozzie and Bee keep their relationships with Fizzarolli and Vortex a secret. Stolas and Blitz included in their arrangement that they'd keep the grimoire-trading a secret, since they could both get in trouble. Not even Octavia or Stella knew. Octavia is aware of Stella's abuse of Stolas and her true nature, and knows that Stolas tried to protect her from it with varying degrees of success. As an Omega, Stolas is Octavia's mother and Stella the father.

Loona has a new found obsession for the Northern Lights, Blitz is almost a hundred percent sure passed down from Stolas, which to him made it even sweeter.
So as the supportive dad and boyfriend he is, he of course took them to Earth on a chilly night, somewhere he knew was lonely enough to be able to relax for a few hours. No disguises, far away from the disturbance and suffocation of the city or hell. Not much difference between those two anyway.
He expected it, Stolas looking far away into the sky, a dissociated stare in his eyes, because by this point he knew the bird would travel far away in his thoughts, unraveling thousands of mini debates in his mind that would drive him insane. Where he was the judge that declared his sentence repeatedly, and he was the harshest of all when it came to himself.
After noticing his daughter was also aware, they shared an understanding look, the imp nodded and cleared his throat. “Change of plans birdy, we’re making hot soup!” He said enthusiastically, they would make the night much warmer than an Earth’s winter. Perfect? Not yet, not without the owl girl. But all theirs.
