From the moment Kirby was born, everybody knew that he was special. And it wasn't because of the magic that practically sparkled in his blue eyes, or the way his fluffy pink hair almost seemed to float, or even the fact that he was found as a newborn without any parents or other people at all around him. No, the real reason he was so special was because he was absolutely covered in soulmarks.
They wound all up and down his arms, far more than anybody had ever seen before. A treasure chest, a jester's ball, a golden sword, an apple pie, the list went on. A simple fish, a pink-gold flower, a stylized peace sign, a painting brush. There were fourteen of them in total, all unique and bright and beautiful.
Kirby grew up knowing that he would be so, so loved.

Unknowning stumbling into a world of magic and questions far beyond what they thought was possible, and with it comes good dreams, the memories of friends and family, of the spring breeze on a sunny day, and most importantly, Kirby.Inspiree by Halo shooting stars over on fanfiction.net, made by GrimlyFiendish, I am effectively using that story as a base for thus one, except I hope to finish this one.

Daroach sees Meta Knight from a distance and immediately becomes smitten, but attempts to ignore it anyway which of course fails. To avoid any potentially embarrassing moments Daroach vows to never have anything to do with the knight which at first seems to work, until one night Meta comes into the casino in which Daroach works, sitting right down at his table.
Daroach does his best to pretend he doesn't feel anything for the knight and tries to last through the night thinking he probably won't see Meta again any time soon, unluckily for him Meta Knight comes in every single night.In short, Daroach gets increasingly more flustered and has no idea what to do while Meta Knight is loving every second of it.

There really needs to be more DaroMeta out here, so I shall bring some. (Read the Dreamy Gear novel!)
In an AU where Dreamland falls to ruin before Meta Knight attains complete mastery in swordsmanship and before he retrieves the Galaxia, King Dedede is overthrown, and Kirby is never created. Meta Knight, still training under his captain, Vul, is captured and sold as a prisoner of war. This focuses on Daroach, a master thief and treasure hunter, voyaging across the universe with his loyal Squeaks, and Meta Knight.
This series does have somewhat dark tones to it.
I've been re-editing some chapters a bit to update what I feel needs to be improved overall :) 20/34 re-edited

After the 'Lab Discovera Incident', Kirby and co. reunite with the rest of the Star Allies, and Magolor helps set up a reunion party!
Unfortunately, an Energy Sphere gets stolen mid-party, and as a result, the entire New Squidbeak Splatoon gets dragged into the New World.
To top it off, the Memverse helmet got dragged in as well. And a certain orderly AI has yet to be dealt with.
Add that to ID-F86 preparing its new form in the Isolated Isles, and the two groups will have to work together to stop the coming clash of chaos and order.

“Oh! That makes sense.” Kirby says. “But why’d you get pulled here, instead of him?”
Dream cocks his head, thinking to himself. “Well… perhaps he had a sort of talisman, or blocker which prevented it. Your… MISC, was it? Probably pulled me instead when it couldn’t get me.”
“I think Marx renamed it the ‘Dream Catcher.’” Bandana amends, amused. Kirby snickers. “Oh, yeah. Magolor’s face was hilarious.”
(I would highly recommend reading the other works in this series before reading this one! Certain parts may not make sense otherwise.)
