Plans are prolonged a bit by their uncooperative record label, but that isn't the only thing proving to be a problem. Following a late night where they both say a little more than they maybe should, their strong emotions towards each other get in the way even more than the label, and Marina finds herself on a completely different wavelength from Pearl for the first time in the four years she's known her.

But as they navigate language barriers, parents, and the music industry, their friendship begins to blur into something more. After the 'Lab Discovera Incident', Kirby and co. reunite with the rest of the Star Allies, and Magolor helps set up a reunion party!
Unfortunately, an Energy Sphere gets stolen mid-party, and as a result, the entire New Squidbeak Splatoon gets dragged into the New World.
To top it off, the Memverse helmet got dragged in as well. And a certain orderly AI has yet to be dealt with.
Add that to ID-F86 preparing its new form in the Isolated Isles, and the two groups will have to work together to stop the coming clash of chaos and order.
