Summary
It's not that Lancelot doesn't want to marry Arthur, especially if it's the key to protect Lyonesse from Malagant, it's just that... Nevermind. He shall be loyal to Arthur and content to be his spouse, if not his love. He will, under no circumstances, think about Gwenhwyvar. He'd hoped to avoid being a pawn on the political chessboard, but that's what you get for being born royalty, right?
Gwenhwyvar doesn't care for princes or kings. Even if they're pretty and witty like Lancelot. Or gentle and kind like Arthur. She just wants to roam the forests of the world in peace and if she has nowhere to sleep and no one to smile at, well, that just what you get for being a mercenary, right?
Arthur isn't lonely. He isn't.
And if he has to watch his spouse and his best knight find each other, then that's just what you get from loving them both a bit too much, right? -

Summary
France, 1916.
The Great War rages on. It is a dark time for humanity, and a young British soldier by the name of Arthur Pendragon does what he can to keep himself and his comrades alive amidst the blood and carnage of the Western Front. Hardened by his time in the trenches, Arthur cannot believe that his situation could get any worse.
However, dark forces that had been dormant for millennia have suddenly returned, bringing power that had been the stuff of fantasy and nightmares into a world that was woefully unprepared to meet it.
With the emergence of these dark forces, Arthur soon finds himself thrust headfirst into a new war he never knew existed, a destiny he never realized was his, and a legend that would change the world forever.
