Convinced that Hiccup is his husband, they go to the land of the dead. But Hiccup wants to get home. After all, this was just a mistake right? Right?
If you want a high quality summary, watch Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. It is one of my favorite movies of all time. Also the plot may be slightly easier to understand once you have the world in your head. -
