Summary
It's been a year since the moral dilemma of Showfall. Weeks and months of court cases, interviews, trying to avoid the media, going through the trauma of needing an entire new identity. Now 20, Ranboo finds their life uprooted and burned down in the year they were supposed to be getting used to this whole "adult" thing.
He thinks he's starting to get the hang of it, up until new evidence blows the Showfall case wide open. The police are banging down their door again, detectives are trying to get under their skin, news medias are trying to get their story. It seems no matter where they go, Showfall Media will be on his tail for the rest of his life.
At least he has Charlie, Sneeg and Aimsey caught up with them. The more the merrier, right?Series

Something he'd been trying not to mention or think about, just like on all his trips with the boys before was... he was kinda developing a crush on them? God, 'crush' was a stupid word, but he was not in the headspace to really play Spin the Bottle with them! Equally stupid game, too.
That might get one wondering, 'Why the fuck did he say he was game, then? Was he scared of looking like a coward?'
The real reason was far simpler: he didn't think with his whole brain when talking to them a lot of the time.

"Huh? Wh- I, no, Tom I just woke up, why are you walking around right now?" he asked, his voice hoarse as if it wasn't clear enough from his expression that he was tired and probably still only half awake.
"Oh, I just- I woke up and Ran wasn't there, which is fine y'know, but I wanted to make sure he was alright, so I was just looking around and uh, I-I was looking around but I dunno where they went so I-" Tom rambled on, looking around and peering downstairs as he spoke like he was expecting to see Ranboo there, and also entirely forgetting to breathe.

Ranboo has been living with Phil, Kristen, Tom and Toby for a while now, and despite his trauma from Showfall he's happy. But today Tom woke up and they were nowhere to be found.
