There are a lot of things they don’t tell you about dying, whether it’s due to the morbidity of it all or a lack of knowledge. They don’t tell you about how cold death is or how the final thing you hear (metal colliding together with a snap) echoes in your head. They don’t tell you how everything hurts, atoms being torn apart and pieced together, for a split second. That everything, including the pain, fades quickly.

This is one of many reasons Charlie is so easy to work with. Hetch can say this sort of thing as reassurance instead of a threat.
Roleplay logs. Charlie is the star of Showfall's flagship family sitcom. He's the perfect child actor - Hetch has had years to make sure of that. But the monster hiding under the stairs has the potential to bring everything crashing into the set around all three of them.
