Will Graham survives the fall- sort of
Instead of hitting the black, icy water that beckons him, his body hits the soft sheets of his matress. Instead of dying with his arms wrapped around Hannibal, he wakes up with an iron grip around his body pillow. Instead of darkness, the light of the morning sun shines around him like a kiss from the heavens, warming him from the tips of his curls to his toes.
For a horrible moment, he thinks he's lost time again, that his encephalitis has come back full force and that he's somehow gone through the entire hospital process without remembering a wink of it.
That ends when Hannibal Lecter, comes knocking on his door with a very familiar scramble in his hands. So now he's sure he's just insane, or in Hell. and he's not sure which ones worse.
But as time goes on, Will starts to notice that things are playing out almost exactly the same as they have in the past- or is it present? Eventually, he comes to the conclusion that he's traveled back in time, and he's the only person he knows that seems to be aware of it.
Now armed with a winning hand, Will decides it's time to take his life back and make Hannibal's miserable in the process.

Just a note to clarify the tags - I went non-con to be on the safe side but I think in fairness it's probably closer to dub-con with situational elements that are non-con (e.g. slavery au and mating in heat). It's not forced sex between any of the principals or "on camera" with any of the background characters.
Likewise I went with "underage" but none of the characters are under 15/16 before they start having sex. Will is a kid in the beginning for plot reasons, not to sexualise him as a kid. There are sort of "first time"/"age difference"/"daddy kink"/"end of innocence" kinds of themes but it's not prepubescent underage if (god forbid) that's the only thing giving you pause at this stage. -

Both were, are and always will be survivors at their core, but there is a stark difference between them— Nathaniel Wesninski was the child of a murderer, but Mischa Lecter is a murderer. A new name doesn’t change that.
Or: a disempathetic sociopath is a type of sociopath able to feel an emotional connection to a restricted group of people, a group that may include friends, pets or family members, but regards people outside of the group as objects. Neil Josten joined the Foxes to get back at his father. Somehow, he ended up getting attached, and when the Moriyama Yakuza started making trouble, well, that’s just rude. The Lecters have one response to rudeness.

After refusing to go on the run with Hannibal, Mischa Lecter instead goes into Witness Protection, gets a new name, then starts breaking the rules too. He’s never thought much of Exy; he knows the risks, knows the rules, but if Hannibal can break them, then so can he— which is how ‘Neil Josten’ ends up joining the Millport Dingos.
Six months later, David Wymack shows up with an interesting offer.
Or: whatever name he uses, 'Neil' still runs on spite, Wymack bites off more then he can chew (not that he realises that yet), and the cannibal puns are definitely a thing.
