Summary
Heavy walked further into the med lab slowly, both not to trip on anything and not to startle Scout. The glint of low light off Scout’s damp eyes followed his every move as he sank into the chair next to the bed. Scout kept sniffing, averting his gaze to his own hands on his lap as he was visibly trying not to cry.
After a minute of silence, Heavy sighed, raking his hand over his face. His beard was starting to come in as he’d been hard pressed to find the time to shave, his face growing scruffier. For the first time in years it’d grown long enough for him to see the streaks of gray that had developed in its absence. Age, maybe… but the kind of stress that came with the job took its toll. It did on everyone there, visible or not.
“What happened?” he asked softly, and Scout turned his head away, taking a deep breath. Hesitating.
“I think I fucked up, Heavy,” he whispered.

Summary
The RED team's Heavy has been grappling with the same problem for a disconcertingly long time. In any other scenario he would snuff out this issue with ease, feeling only relief in its absence - but this problem is different, charismatic and relentlessly homicidal. God, what a man.
AKA - Heavy pines over the team's medic, wrestling with his ideas about love and family

This was supposed to be a company-mandated vacation. This was supposed to be Misha meeting Herbert’s mother. This was supposed to be nice.
Unfortunately, returning to the town you were actively run out of as a young adult and showing no signs of improvement turned out to not be a very good idea. -

No Sick Days (And other reasons why the mercs should unionize) by alwaysGradience

Summary
There was no such thing as sick days for the mercs. They had Sunday off to pray in the tiny chapel on base, which only Engineer attended, but for the most part the mercs worked six to eight hour days, six days a week. When you got a cold you went into battle sniffling and coughing- if you got killed due to somebody hearing you wheeze then you got killed. If you were desperate you could sleep underneath the mounted minigun in the lab to help get the virus out of your system, but nobody was desperate enough to fall asleep around Mr.Is anybody going to take these hearts (plural) and not wait for an answer.
So, no one really batted an eye when Medic showed up to battle with a runny nose.

A train ride to Coldfront is a long one.
It brings a much needed space for thoughts.
Heavy's thoughts...are filled with his past and present.
Especially Medic.
In a completely platonic way....right? -

Summary
Heavy finds a Russian movie from 2013, and is inspired by one of its musical numbers.
Note: I do NOT support the anti-Semitic stereotype of a villain in the original Adventures of Buratino, nor do I support the Asian stereotypes in the Return of Buratino.
Also sorry for the short word count on the chapters
