Then his phone rang, which rendered all his previous efforts to not wake his still asleep boyfriend useless. Will stirred gently, and Hannibal took the phone and dashed from their bedroom. The call came from Nigel, who was a long term source of rudeness around Hannibal. He considered declining it, mostly because he did not want to deal with his annoying twin at five in the morning, and there was a myriad of excuses at his disposal. In the end, however, he sighed and hit the green button on the screen.
Hannibal considered starting the conversation with “this call had better be for a good reason”. A bit rude, but he figured Nigel deserved it. But before he could decide, Nigel spoke first. Of course he did.

Prompt: Will flinches away from Hannibal during an argument (angst & hurt/comfort)After the fall, Will and Hannibal settle down in Greece. They live a blend of domesticity and hunting, and things are peaceful (well, their kind of peaceful). Things can't stay perfect forever though, and Will ends up coming down with encephalitis again. Struggling with memories of the past and worries about the future, he hides it from Hannibal. When Hannibal does eventually find out, it leads to an argument about trust, honesty, and asking for help.

Summary
Will's head throbbed from the moment he woke up to the moment he went to bed.
The light hurt his eyes, he felt nauseous, and he felt as if his head was underwater.
It continues for four days before it gets so bad he can't even get out of bed. The dogs nose at him, paw at him--wanting let out and fed. Winston burrows under the blankets to check on him.
He hides under the covers and tries to work up the strength to get up and tend to his dogs--they need him.
Will takes the blanket off of his head and even with his eyes closed the light hurts his eyes, and his stomach rolls. He hasn't eaten anything since yesterday, but he dry heaves all the same. He pulls the blankets back over his head, he'll try again in a minute.
He hears all of the dogs, but Winston run towards the door but they do not bark. No one knocks, but he can faintly hear keys and then the door opens.
Who has keys to his house? Alana hasn't had a key for years.
"Down."
Hannibal?
He pulls the blanket off again, this time he opens his eyes, and sees Hannibal.
"Dr. Lecter?"

Hannibal looks happy to see him, then the scent of anxiety hits him full force and he frowns. “Hello, Will,” he greets as always. “Is something the matter? You’re looking a bit under the weather.”
Will steps inside, brushes close enough that he knows Hannibal can smell the twisting sweetness buried under the cloying scent of anxiety that overpowers his aftershave. The notes of wild clover blossoms that have thankfully always been faint are growing stronger. Will has always had a mild scent for an omega, but when he’s about to go into heat the sweetness in it gets much stronger. “I need to ask you something important, and I need to know you are going to really listen to what I am saying to you because if you don’t I swear I will kill you.”
