Summary
Ordinary follows the story of 21 year-old Paedyn Graeme, a powerless young woman in a city full of supernaturally gifted people, whose main source of income is lies and wit. She and her only friend Adena do their best to survive in one of the poorest neighborhoods of Ilya: Loot. After robbing, and then consequently saving, one stuck up and murderous Prince Kai, Paedyn becomes suddenly famous under the alias Nora Gray, and gets selected to participate in a set of three deadly Trials. If she passes the trials, she could be rewarded with fame and wealth, but if she fails, she'll die.

Did you read Powerless and think it needed some changes? Maybe the writing didn't evoke very much emotion in you, or there were too many contradictions to get fully invested in the writing? Or perhaps you haven't read Powerless at all, in which case you are also welcome because you don't need to read the book to read this. Anyways, I wrote this rewrite because I felt like there was *so much* potential in the Powerless series, and I wanted to try to make some more of that potential come to life. -

Summary
If someone told you that instead of doing a Biology test, you'd be fighting for your life in the Purging Trials, you'd think they're on something. If said someone also mentioned you'd be in the body of a character you despise more than death itself, you'd laugh in their face.
Except that is the exact situation you find yourself stuck in. Trapped in the body of Blair Archer, you need to somehow navigate your way through the Trials trying to kill you, and characters who hate you. All while ensuring the timeline stays the same, lest there be an outcome you haven't prepared for.
Sounds easy, right?
Nope. Not at all.

When an incident at Loot Alley occurs, you accidentally put yourself in the spotlight when you interfere. Due to this - you've gotten yourself into the Purging Trials, along with a well known psychic from the slums you both shared the streets of.
As you navigate through the trials, you're thrown into situations you consider to be worse. Can you avoid falling from the blonde, emerald eyed prince that completely sweeps you off your feet? Can you hide your identity? And what will you choose - Revolution? Or love?
