    Somewhere unknown, an unknown entity known as the Overseer of the Multiverse was pacing around the space she is in, contemplating about what she saw… the Commander of Will is slowly overpowering the 2 Goddesses that defeated it before, it seemed to have undergone an evolution considering it is a lot smarter, calculative and a lot more cunning than the previous time it fought the two Goddesses. The entity thinks it's only a matter of time before the two Goddesses are defeated, once that happens the Multiverse will once again be at war against the Honkai God, and there is no telling if the ending of this story will be a happy one.

    “You did.” She agrees.

    “The Universe was your cloak. Time was your plaything. You could have shaped the world into anything you wanted.”

    “After how many prices paid?” Kiana closes her eyes, remembering the pain of Honkai peeling apart her body, an eye turned amber, burning herself in cleansing flames until her irises were finally once again blue.

    “Did it matter?”

    It is genuine in its inquiry. But Kiana still feels the dying embers of hatred that she tried to let go.

    “Yes,” she snaps forcefully.

    A oneshot about an AU where things go horribly wrong. Bronya dies in the Theater of Domination, and Kiana is unable to fully defeat Sirin to completely ascend to become the Herrscher of Flamescion. The Elysian Realm fails to defeat/contain the Herrscher of Corruption, who repeats events from the previous samsara to wipe out humanity. This accelerates the appearance of the Herrscher of Finality, who is not chosen to be Kiana. Project Stigma fails, and everybody dies in the resulting calamity.
    This fic follows Kiana in her final moments, after the battle against Finality.

    A touch, soft. A tap on her shoulder, an illusory jolt of static, barely brushing against her suit. The faint scent of cherry blossoms, wrapping around her senses in ribbons. Unbidden, she lets out a sigh, shoulders relaxing imperceptibly.
    “I’ve failed, haven’t I?” A pause, a smaller plea, weak. “Mei.”
    The silence that greets her is enough of a response.

Now he can't even call Lumine to rant about it because *surely* she'd laugh at him and tease him for needing to be fetched just because he can't open a rift all on his own at his big age.

    Follow Aether as he adventures through Teyvat because he's totally just having a bit too much fun traveling this one world and isn't actually stranded for who knows how long until he recovers his energy. Totally.
