When the room stayed silent, it stayed silent for a while. That silence echoed off the white walls and back into Bill's aching ears, that had been listening to this pink creature's voice for years now, surely, and he hadn't found a way out yet—
“A sin is an immoral act considered to be transgression against divine law. The Axolotl implores you to look inside and find your own sins. In finding your own sins, you find the quickest way out of here.” The Axolotl continued out of nowhere.

Bill Cipher can always see into Ford's mind, tormenting his dreams and making sure he stays loyal. His waking hours are consumed by building the portal and his moments of sleep are dedicated to entertaining his muse. He has no private life, no private thoughts. Seeing how tormented he has become, another entity who's been watching over him gives him a gift, albeit fickle and temporary: a peaceful night where his mind is allowed to wander and dream whatever it wants, free of judgement. In other words, protection. But something keeps trying to tear down the walls and break in.

Mable and Dipper’s “Grunckles” Stan and Ford have unfortunately passed several months ago. Mable and Dipper return to Gravity Falls with the mystery shack now in their possession. Little do they know a new foe is about to appear in Gravity Falls.

Bill's pride sure has taken a beating after his plot to take over the world was defeated. Having time to himself to lick his wounds means a lot of time to think, and plan. And when he comes back, oh boy howdy are the Pines family, and Axolotl, going to pay for their misdoings. They'll regret the day they underestimated the great Bill Cipher.
