Basically the whole zombie apocalypse is caused by the Unseelie King messing with the Black Volume. So basically the Shadowhunters meet the Walking Dead Crew and the Z Nation Crew featuring my OC Mana. This takes place after Lord of Shadows but before Queen of Air and Darkness. I definitely take elements from post Lord of Shadows and Queen of Darkness but as far as my fic is concerned Queen of Air and Darkness never happened. I also started writing this before most of The Last Hours books were published so whatever backstory was revealed did not happen as I did not read Chain of Thorns. For Walking Dead this is set around "Them"/"The Distance". Up until that point everything is canon. Once they meet Mana canon kind of goes out the window. This fic is already finished, it is just a matter of when I upload chapters. Fear not, I will upload all of them but I have no schedule. Oh and Mana is super Filipino, so if you are for a Filipino OC this is the right fic for you.

“What about you?” Jace asks dumbly, though his body is already acclimating to the new layer, sinking further into the coat.
“I don’t get cold, the coat is for appearances.” Simon reminds him.
Right, dead. Still Jace’s pride is attempting to rear its head. Simon isn’t having it.
“Just- keep the coat Jace.” Then Simon turns around and continues down the path before Jace can argue again, nearly tripping over his own feet in his haste.

But now after the sudden sad news, he is more that suspicious about this new Lightwood mafia leader, as he had never heard that Robert Lightwood had an elder son. That must be a mistake. Or then he had been fooled all along.This is the story about how Alec and Magnus find their ways into eachother's hearts despite complicated circumstances.
ps. The warning about the major character's death is referring Alec's father, Robert Lightwood. He is already gone when this story begins. However, there is quite a lot of talk about his death in the first chapters, so I decided to put the warning over there, so you can decide wether you want to read further or not. This is a bit darker strory, so I hope you take care of yourself and read only if you feel comfortable. Alec and Magnus will both be ok.
