Summary
Pheromone assault is considered a serious crime in Bugaria and with good reason: pheromones can cause even the nicest of bugs to lose all sense of self and personality, and become utterly subservient to the whims of the one controlling them, even if it means attacking their friends and loved ones with the intent to grievously harm or even kill. And then there is the chance of causing one afflicted with pheromones to become uncontrollably... aroused.
When Kabbu is forced to fight Vi and Leif over a broken vase and his pre-Awakening mating drive is unintentionally triggered, the beetle finds himself struggling to cope. Burdened by guilt, past trauma, a crushing secret, and a love he feels he cannot share, Kabbu can only see himself spiralling downwards. If only he knew that his hidden affections were being reciprocated with just as much secrecy, by someone who has no idea how to deal with such feelings. If only both could get past their denial and their guilt. And yet Team Snakemouth have faced many challenges together before and their bonds have remained resolute. They will not allow this to be any different.

In which I - a writer who has never attempted whump, and is actively drowning in college - attempt Whumptober.
This will be mostly Bug Fables, but may pull from Worldless on some prompts. This will also only include prompts for which I do writing. Some will be art and thus posted elsewhere.
Edit: This work contains prompts for days one (beg for forgiveness), three (isolation/found family), and seven (elevator/pushed beyond breaking point). Summary
After so many moons of traveling Bugaria to seek out the answers to his encounter with Team Snakemouth’s mercy, Astotheles is unconvinced but remains troubled by his moral compass left skewed by the trio. Returning home to continue his synthetic peace within the inhospitable world of nature and new law, he comes across another bug that may have the answers he sought after during his long leave.
Will he learn what it means to show mercy? And will his family accept such a contradicting notion?

Things have been... unusually icy between Team Snakemouth since their failed attempt to recapture the artifacts from the Wasps. Kabbu's been pushing himself to his absolute limit for the sake of his team, taking every lesser bug's beating to avoid any risk of harm upon his friends. While Vi and Leif have been just fine, the discrepancy between the three's conditions has started catching gossip and stares. What's the cause of his change in behavior? Blind chivalry? Concern?
