Daxter isn't sure how long they've been fighting their way across the city, but it feels like it'll never be enough. No matter what route they take, no matter how close they keep the kid, and no matter how many guards Jak puts down, the KG just keep coming.
Bullets are flying and the moment they turn the corner to the home stretch, so, so close to Vin's little hideout, Daxter sees the wall of blood red plate standing in their way.

Overall, not his finest moments.

Breaking into the Krimzon Guard's Fortress wasn't so hard as a two-foot-something furry who could squeeze into tight places and pass for a very confused stray animal if he ever got caught. Gaining access to the lowest levels of this hellhole and tracking down his best friend had been a lot harder, but with time and luck and a some stealthing for information and a whole hell of a lot more forward preparation, even that had gone smoothly enough.It was the part where he and Jak both got out of this daring escape in one piece that was turning out to be the really hard part.
