Alex is coming home from his new job at a local cafe when he is kidnapped by Syl (from the tv show) and SCORPIA. They don't seem to want anything, but they certainly want to cause Alex pain for what he did to dismantle their organization. Alex's friends and the department are racing to find him but with no leads, will they make it in time?
K-unit are book based rather than show based.
Edit- I just changed the name of this fic to Experiments in Pain. It was SCOPRIA'S Revenge.

Summary
Recently re-read the amazing work There's No Place Like Home by StellaLuna365 and got a bit inspired for this story. Basically fills in a little gap between chapters 20 and 21, and follows Lion and co, rather than Alex. A little ficlit because I got inspired.
This short story has two parts, part 1 (Chapter 1) Is where they get to him in time and everything is okay (relatively) and part 2 (chapter two) is an au where everything is not okay and Alex dies.
CW - Suicide - with StellaLuna365's story at this point Alex has gone to kill himself, so please keep that in mind as you go into it.
