When Tora was building Origin he was just as afraid of failure as everyone else. So he built another function into the machine. If the worst were to happen anyone in contact with Origin would be sent to the past. Resetting Origin was not supposed to activate this feature, and yet Noah and the others found themselves in the past, not that they’re aware that it’s the past at all.
Scattered across the world, and unknowingly wreaking havoc on the timeline. That would be bad enough, but what’s with all this fog?

“I’m sorry, love,” Eunie sighed, her gaze falling to the floor littered with broken feathers. “He wasn’t very talking with me in these days”. She paused for a moment and then added “I think he needs a break, to process everythin’ happened in the past month. It was a lot also for him, y’ know”.
“That’s why I’m worried,” Mio confessed, her hands instinctively moving to her chest. “I know he feels like he has to bear everything on his own, and he probably feels…”
“Guilty,” Eunie finished for her. Mio nodded in agreement before leaving the room, adding, “I just hope he’s not in trouble.”
Once the door closed, Eunie realized she was tense. Her muscles were rigid, and adrenaline coursed through her veins. She was worried about her partner, and she was angry at him for disappearing without a word. “Where the sparks are ‘u, muppet?” she muttered under her breath, pacing nervously around her room, cursing him every step she was taking. -

“Aren’t Nopon meant to be a neutral party?” Taion asked no-one in particular, even if it was pointedly about the Moebius in front of him.
The consul lifted up their arm and pressed a button, dissolving their chef hat-shaped helmet. Underneath was a peachy, fluffy face topped with a tuft of pink hair.

Some people wondered before the game came out if Eunie was Melia's daughter. There isn't even the slightest implication in the game that this might be true... but I'm going with it anyway, because it's more fun like this. I had a surprising amount of fun finding ways to justify Eunie being Eunie despite being Melia's daughter.
Everyone is related, and all those obscure theories about characters being related are true (except for the Dirk one, because other people are already doing that one better).

“Spark, no” she retorted, her voice filled with indignation. She was still confined to her bed, her arm, which wielded the Blade of the Incursor class, was in a cast due to a fracture. Despite the copious amounts of ether infused for healing, Doctor Holly had advised her to keep the cast on for a few more days. “Imma not stay with him, one minutes more.”
“I concur,” Taion grumbled, “Being her interlinking partner is punishment enough.”
“That’s exactly the problem,” Noah interjected, pointing at the two of them.
“Indeed,” Lanz chimed in, “I mean, Taion can be a bit of a stick in the mud at times, I get it.” Eunie shot a triumphant grin at her interlinking partner. “But ya’re no less, featherbrain.”
“Wot? Who are y’ calling a featherbrain, you muppet?” she shot back angrily, causing Taion to break into a grin.
“But guys, what’s been going on with you two lately?” Sena asked, her voice filled with concern, “I thought things between you two had improved? I mean, you two seemed quite close while we were…”
“SENA!” Taion interrupted, his face turning a deep shade of red.
“Me and him, wot?!” Eunie exclaimed, her wings flapping nervously. -

“Hey, Sena! Oh, and Taion, you’re here too. I’m sorry, I just needed a moment to myself. Aunt Mythra’s chatter was a bit too much!” She tried to inject some humor into her voice, but she knew that deceiving her closest friends was an impossible task. Sena’s eyes were also glistening with unshed tears. Without uttering a word, she rushed over and enveloped Mio in a comforting embrace.
“Mio, there’s no need to put on a facade for us,” Taion sighed, adjusting his glasses - a habit he had inherited from Aionios. He joined them, standing silently by their side, his gaze fixed on Bionis. Despite his stoic demeanor, Mio could see the sadness reflected in his eyes. His hands, clenched into fists, trembled slightly.
“Taion’s right, Mimi,” Sena whispered, her arms still wrapped around Mimi. “If you need to cry, just let it out. We’re here for you.”
“Thank you, guys…” Mio’s voice broke into a sob, and she finally allowed herself to release the pent-up emotions, finding solace in Sena’s comforting hold, as she always did.
