    "I took the bus," Quinn said simply, as if he wasn't defying the laws of the universe as far as Oliver understood them. Which... okay, to be fair, he didn't really understand them all that well. Maybe that was a little concerning, considering he kind of made half of them.

    In the two years it takes for him to catch up after everything, Oliver learns a lot about waiting. He also learns a lot about Quinn, and himself, and how to keep going. It all just happens to be a little out of order.

    Benjamin furrows his eyebrows slightly, taking a moment to swallow before speaking– although he probably shouldn't speak. But sometimes they switch on which of them has a filter, and it's clearly not with Benjamin tonight.
    "Or... we can."
    Oliver looks at Benjamin and it takes every fiber in his being to not run out of the house and hide under a rock for forty years. "Like... us? You mean us practicing?"
