Summary
“I get tired of people picking and choosing when to see me as an adult. The kids just see me as me.”
“I see you.” Eddie frowned, spinning them around.
“You were busy.” Buck pursed his lips when Eddie glared at him. “You broke up with Marisol weeks ago and still haven’t told anyone.” Buck whispered. “I figured you would enjoy socializing with everyone and wanted you to feel included.”
“Bullshit.” Eddie said flatly, spinning them around again.
“Fine. Yes.” Buck agreed. “It is bullshit. I’m petty and jealous about having to share you with other people constantly. It pisses me off because I want your attention on me. Like, all the time.”
“Better.” Eddie smirked at him.

Summary
"The 118, the home base for the Nash Crime Family, is an old, blown-out fire station, in a part of Los Angeles not often visited by more reputable types. The windows are boarded up and blacked out and the garage doors attached to the bay are firmly affixed by chains and padlocks to iron rings embedded into the cement floor.
They call it the 118 because that's the number on the outside of the building. Inside too, if you know where to look.
Sometimes, Buck thinks about the firefighters who used to work here. Maybe they were a family too."

Summary
“Mr. Buckley?” A crisp voice, professional and bright. “This is Sara from Hormel Foods. We’d like to discuss licensing your resealable bacon packaging patent.”
Buck blinked. He was halfway between the sink and the counter, holding an only-mostly-clean dish towel in one hand like a flag of truce. His brain did a little stutter-step, then fell directly through a trapdoor.
“My what?”
“Your patent,” Sara said smoothly, as if this conversation happened every day (maybe it did, in her world). “Approved three weeks ago.”
“Approved,” he repeated, like a child testing a new word. The towel slipped out of his fingers and landed on the floor with a soft thud. “My patent is… approved?”
“Yes,” she said, still crisp. “Mr. Buckley, do you have a few minutes? Our legal team is prepared to make an offer for licensing rights in select categories. We—”

Summary
“Mom, I don’t wanna do that now, okay?” Eddie said, rubbing his forehead.
“Then when? You don’t talk to us, you don’t say anything when Christopher refuses to talk, you don’t even introduce your new children to us, your pack treats us like outsiders!”
“That’s not true, come on. They tried to include you in stuff, but you’ve spent all of your time here glaring at everyone, and contradict everything that anyone said. And you could’ve just asked about Ines and Gabriel, but you just stood there and stared disapprovingly.”
“Well, have you seen how your daughter looks at me?” Helena exclaimed, feeling tears springing to her eyes. Eddie sighed, shaking his head.
“She’s not even two and a half,” he said, looking straight at her. There was a floating moment where none of them said anything, as if Eddie was expecting her to reply something to that. “Six months ago she couldn’t even walk. You’re beefing with a toddler that you never talked to, and all she’s seen you do is glare angrily at people. Mostly her, by the way.”Series

Summary
"I don't know, Buck, I just don't think this shirt is right either."
Buck sighed, rubbing at his forehead. "You've changed your shirt five times already, Eds! And while I appreciate the show, I would like to leave at some point today. What's going on? This can't all be because of a shirt."
"Yes, it can be! You haven't experienced how vicious Tia Pepa can be when she doesn't approve of your outfit choice. She's so cruel, Buck."
"She is not. You're so dramatic."
"Yes, she is! You just don't know because she's so nice to you. Her Evancito can do no wrong, and I can learn a thing or two from you apparently.” Eddie waved a hand dismissively. “She just doesn't know how much of a brat you really are. Favoritism is what that is."
OR: Eddie wants to propose to Buck. He has a whole plan because of course he does. It just also requires some help from his family.

Summary
Willingly volunteering for latrine or laundry duty wouldn't necessarily be insane, no matter how public his hatred for either chore is, but the real question is whether or not Buck's nose can handle the inevitable onslaught of stimuli right now.
The decision is made for him when Hen—and he loves her so much he's going to fix the Wilson's creaky front door—inadvertently saves him by cornering Eddie at the ambulance.
Buck does not stay long enough to find out what the hell that’s about and simply thanks the universe for his pseudo-sister, then takes the opportunity to get the fuck out of there.
or - buck is desperately struggling not to show how pathetically in love he is with Eddie, Maddie and Chimney are NOT helping and maybe, just maybe, he learns how to accept himself and all of his undead-ness in the process
