Waving his paw around nonchalantly, he flicked away the rest of whatever that sentence would’ve been, reaching for his backpack and shuffling through it. “Whatever, it doesn't matter.” It probably did. Just not now. He pulled out the hairbrush he brought, holding it up for Ollie to look at like a confused dog. “Have you ever seen one of these?”
Bully thinks that Poor Kid's fur looks matted. Like, downright horrendous and slightly concerning to look at. So he does what he loathes the most, and helps.

Summary
Max, a typical 19-year-old university student, was known for his amiable and easygoing nature. He was also known for his inseparable bond with his best friend, Nugget. The two were rarely apart, always having each other's backs, and you could say they were each other's twin. Max was perfectly content with this friendship and couldn't imagine needing anything more.
So, when Nugget started dating someone, Max was taken aback by the flood of emotions that overwhelmed him. He should've been happy for his friend, but instead, he felt an unexpected sense of discomfort. Their routine together was interrupted, and it bothered him more than he would've liked to admit.
Max had never questioned his feelings towards Nugget, he'd never even considered the possibility that he liked guys. It wasn't like he'd ever been interested in girls either, but he'd always assumed that was because he hadn't ever found the right person.
Now, however, he wasn't so sure.

Twiddle always knew he was loved, wanted and needed but today, those thoughts made him afraid of losing Peanut, was he even worthy enough in the first place? Today during his usual hangout with his friend Peanut, the overthinking spiraled into a simple question that needed an answer.

It's funny how one minute, you're just spending quality time with your friend, and then all of a sudden, it dawns upon you that, maybe...you like him more than "just" a friend.
For twenty-two year-old Max's case, he realized that he slowly developed romantic feelings for Nugget until the signs became visible as day. Now in a situation where Nugget is supposed to come by for a sleepover the following day, Max has to wonder how long he's going to keep these overflowing feelings hidden or if he should at all.
