Summary
Vincent and Valerie grew up on the streets of Night City, fending for themselves. That was hard enough for an empath like Valerie. When an attack left Valerie so traumatized her twin brother was the only person she’d speak to, he packed them up and moved them to Atlanta, hoping the change would help and he’d make a name for himself. None of that happened. At least back in NC, he knew people that would help keep an eye on Valerie.
After they return, he meets Jackie Wells, and things start looking better for the pair, especially when Jackie lines up a job for some sweet Arasaka tech that should get them set for life. Unfortunately, life in Night City never seems to go as planned . . . .
When he finds out what the relic is doing to him, all Vincent cares about is making sure Valerie is taken care of. All she wants to do is save her brother.

His eyes do not leave the floor. V feels a tremor start in her hands – she shoves them into her pockets, sniffling as she stands.
Crybaby she might be, she’s never been one to give up.
“You could come with me.” She whispers, frightened that Saburo himself would hear her.
“I cannot.” His answer is just as soft, and no less broken.
V lets the tears fall as she smiles – realizing that after all they’ve been through, this is the end. “Goodbye Goro. It’s been an honor.”

An alteration to the Devil ending. V returns to Earth to spend the rest of her days with the Aldecaldos and face her inevitable death. Takemura returns to Tokyo to resume his duty to Saburo Arasaka, only to be faced with accusations of sedition. Fate brings them together once more.
