NUSA's tortured brow played heads or tails between a 5th corpo war and a third civil war, this one miserable purple bitch took off to the stars, and the Aldecaldos raided South Cali... for reasons(?), but she was my sweetie you silly, and I ain't a chica of letting go of the damn bone (either she liked it or not)! ;)

Summary
Five months after leaving Night City with Panam and the Aledecados, a cure seems further away than ever, and V has to face the facts: she's dying, and regret is soon to be her only companion.
Such was the fate she had chosen by leaving Night City, but as always the City has a way of dragging you back - and a request from an unexpected source threatens to turn her life upside down once again.

Summary
Largely a rewrite of the base game V x Judy storyline, with some auxiliary material on top of that. Perspectives alternate, though in scenes featuring Judy I tend to default to her POV.
Usually there's deviation from how the scenes go in the game in terms of dialogue, but I plan no major changes in the general plot.
I use a fairly significant amount of vanilla dialogue, but I feel it's required for the context a lot of the time. If you know those scenes well, feel free to skim lines that look familiar. -

It's been over a year since V left Night City with the Aldecaldos. With Judy by her side, V's come to quite enjoy the "quiet life" that many of her past cohorts talked down upon. She's finished her merc life, and that suits her just fine.
Unfortunately, even with 1000 miles between her and Night City - The merc life doesn't seem quite finished with her.

Ever since the warehouse, Jinx has only ever been able to rely on Silco. That begins to change when the metal chick joins their ranks. Jinx finds her a surprisingly comforting and reliable presence, but as old family returns and her voices grow louder, she is forced to confront the fragility of her new bonds.
(Fic is easily understood without knowledge of Cyberpunk 2077's plot, although some familiarity will help.)
