Summary
“What,” said John Constantine, dark shadows under his eyes as he pointed at Tim, “in the ever-loving fuck is that.”
“This,” Batman said, voice edging into a growl, “is Robin.”
Tim Drake, Robin extraordinaire and necromancer on the side, meets John Constantine at an emergency gathering of the Justice League. Constantine is not pleased by what he sees. Mischief ensues.

Summary
Jason died.
Give me a friend, Tim thought with all the firmness he could muster. Something twisted in his gut, and a weird tingling came from his fingers, the kind he got when his arm fell asleep.
All of a sudden, he was exhausted. What? Tim scowled at the feeling, forcing himself to sit up. It took him a moment to realize, but someone was standing in front of him. The edges of him - it was a boy, practically a grown-up - flickered for a moment, like static on a TV, before turning normal again.
He was dressed in bright colors, red and green and yellow like a traffic light - like Robin. The costume was torn right over where the ‘R’ was supposed to be, and it was kind of bloody - really bloody.
Gotham is a city of tragedies, wrapped up in enough grief that while Tim knows that Robin has died, he doesn't connect that to his new imaginary friend. There's no reason to; Tim is a normal boy, by Gotham's standards.
It turns out Gotham's standards are fairly abnormal.

Summary
Slowly— more slowly than he probably should— Tim lets himself glance to the hallway leading away from the door. Sure enough, there's a large blood trail, splattered over the walls and floor, that leads right to one of Riddler's henchmen.
Tim hesitantly makes his way over, pressing a finger to their neck to feel for a pulse.
Nothing.
He readjusts his fingers to check again.
And again.
A third time.
The result doesn't change, no matter how many times he moves his fingers to try at a different angle or location or pressure.

Summary
The air was cold as he burst into it. Breath came with the same violence as everything else–hacking and heaving, desperate for air in his lungs that wouldn’t come. Outside of the water was green too–reflecting off dark walls and lighting the room with it. It was funny–if anything was–because green was all he would see for a long, long time.
There's a before and an after, distinct in Jason's mind–neither hurt, but it's different, not being a ghost and the only thing Tim has in his life to hold on to. Before for a long time had been before Jason died, but now it's–before. Before–and after. Jason doesn't like to think about what came between them, barely remembers what came between, but it haunts him as surely as he haunted Tim.

Summary
Tim walks through the cemetery, lantern swinging playfully in one hand and a bounce in his step that’s been missing for six weeks.
He’d seen Stephanie earlier that day, and he’d heard her whisper to Dick that he was unhinged. It is a fairly accurate description, really. Then again, Stephanie doesn’t know what it’s like when your only tether to the living world has been brutally cut and sent to the beyond. He doubts she’ll ever talk to him again. Not after she realizes how he used her to make tonight possible.
It’s okay, after tonight, everything will be okay.

Summary
“Ich brauche keinen Exorzismus”, erwiderte Tim, als er ihm in die Küche folgte.
“Da bin ich aber anderer Meinung”, grummelte Constantine.
Tim entschied sich dafür, ihn zu ignorieren. “Ich möchte, dass Sie mich unterrichten."
“In was? Manieren?”
“Nein, ich kenne Manieren schon,” er redete weiter als Constantine seinen Widerspruch äußerte, “was ich lernen muss, ist Totenbeschwörung.”
