TagsSummaryTheater druids make me cringe. Flaunting the forms nature loans us, prancing around complimenting each other's ears. They make me want to join a fungal colony the easy way. And that Kagha woman just reeks of shadow. Tryhard 'druids-are-scary-too' nonsense. "ThEn tHe VIpeR MuSt stRIke." What a dork. Bonding with nature to perform villainy in front of other people is disgraceful. It makes us all look like idiots. I guess killing them wouldn't be the least cathartic thing I've ever done. Tav experiments with shapeshifting, and learns some interesting things. This piece assumes you're familiar with the game; these scenes are meant to fit between canon events. Series- Part 1 of Takes on Tav

TagsSummary"Focusing hard on trying not to fall off the edge, Astarion finally spotted an opening and took it. He darted around the other side of the beast while it focused on Karlach only for it to whirl round on him in less then a second. He didn't even have a chance to realise how badly he had messed up before mighty claws came down on him with massive force. There was a shooting pain, the sound of someone yelling his name frantically, the feeling of weightlessness as he was thrown back by a second blow and then suddenly the sting of crashing into ice cold water before everything went black." Early relationship little whump that started off as me wanting to do something light hearted then got dark quickly and then gets more playful again at the end. Focuses alot on the dark urges and how they effect them during a crisis. You don't need to read the other story in this series to understand what's going on they are all stand alone. Nonbinary/gender neutral named Durge. Series- Part 2 of Nilstar

TagsSummaryGale assumed that when Tav asked him the strange question, it was only as a hypothetical. But for all his wisdom, he had forgotten his beloved was a druid with a shitty sense of humor.

TagsSummary“Don’t avoid it,” Nanne said firmly. “Face it, Astarion. You would have killed me.” They spoke about a hypothetical, he knew. They would never know just how close he’d come that night, ten years ago, to making their words a reality. How gladly he would have let them die, all for the sake of a rotting rat and avoiding the lash, were it not for some flash of conscience. “I would have killed you,” he choked out, and the words destroyed him. ----- Ten years ago, hunting food for Cazador, Astarion makes a choice to spare a young bard instead of bringing them to his master. Ten years later, they reunite, unaware that one was once predator and the other prey. Series- Part 1 of The Uncaged Passerine

TagsSummary“Hello, darling.” He bends down, until he can just brush his lips against theirs. Tav’s breath flutters, soft as butterfly wings, against his skin. When they try to lean up to deepen the kiss, Astarion draws away, and laughs at the pout he gets for his actions. He glances up to see Halsin sitting calmly at the end of the bed, smiling at the two of them. A little thrill of embarrassment runs through him, but it's quick enough to bury under familiar charm. “Well druid?” He drawls, tilting his head to show off the long line of his neck. “Don't you have something you should be doing?” Halsin grins outright at that and laughs deep in his chest. “My apologies. I'll get right to that.” --- Astarion suggests a threesome between himself, Tav, and Halsin. It goes better than anyone expects it to.

TagsSummaryI don't really have a full summary yet as it's a work in progress. But I guess it's just my character's trek through BG3 starting in the Underdark. I'm never really good at beginnings, so I just drop in some time after. Of course I take minor liberties with the storytelling, and certain points of reference within the game, but I don't have the patience to write a 50 page description on the temple of Shar or a detailed account of rescuing gnomes from prison, so yea.

TagsSummarySometimes you have to take one for the team and insert yourself into the machinations of a powerful and insufferably smug cambion. You just have to suffer through the duration of your newly negotiated contract and everything will be fine. You certainly won't enjoy it, right? Series- Part 1 of The Lusty Stygian Librarian

TagsSummary“Do you forgive me?” Gale asked, resting his hands on Astarion’s hips. “Absolutely not! I was going to win by making you cry first and now you’ve gone and ruined it just like you ruined my proposal! I hope you’re happy, because you’re going to have to spend the rest of eternity making it up to me!” “Hardly a punishment,” Gale said, pressing another kiss to the tip of his nose. AKA Astarion is a nervous wreck in the lead-up to their wedding, wanting everything to be absolutely perfect for his beloved wizard. Gale decides it's nothing a little prewedding-wedding can't fix! After all, it's the least he can do after inviting half of Waterdeep... Series- Part 2 of And I Still Hum Its Tune

TagsSummary“The mouse smiled brightly: it outfoxed the cat!” he laughed, a deep chuckle that spoke of condescension rather than amusement. The right mood was imperative for a first impression after all.
“Then down came the claw, and that, love, was that.”
Sudden chuckles interrupted the well-planned dramatic silence. How dare they? A performance was a sacred art and not to be disturbed under any circumstances.
 Ever.
“Did - did you practice that in front of the mirror?”

Myfanwy never expected to get an artfully constructed, exhaustively thought-over confession. Clearly there's a conversation that needs to be had. Series- Part 1 of Miffed
