The door clicked, as it got unlocked. The girl creature watched as the thing opened, giving a way out, yet not for Ava. Never for Ava. A woman walked in, dressed in black, wearing a white coat. A scientist. Geez, Ava hated those. So, so much. A low growl started echoing through the room, the source being the ‘inhuman’ habitant. (She was human, once. Before all this.)
“Behave, Ex-One.” The woman demanded, though it had little effect on the younger. It never worked. Not without the ‘tools’, at least, and they both knew that. Ex-One, short for Experiment-One, had always been very stubborn. Ava was stubborn. (Where did that name come from? No one knew. But that was hers.) But even she couldn’t withstand the torture. The phantom pains started up again, reminding her every time. The scars proved it. Once an innocent, naive child, now a feral, defensive ‘beast’. Ava wasn’t human. She’s never human, as Ex-One.
“I’m not asking again, beast.” The scientist grit out. The growling had stopped, but the glare remained. Ava stood up, an approving yet still annoyed nod coming from the older, the human. It was time for another test, and Ava couldn’t do anything to stop it from happening.

Avara is a social recluse who never leaves the house, and gets fired frequently – The Daemos transfer to a different world. Unfortunately, she gets stuck with them, and she has to learn how to both begin caring for herself, and for a bunch of random guys. Things go so smoothly. Roughly the same as canon.

One day, Ava introduces a rule forcing the boys to take baths in pairs so she can pay less of her water bill, leading Asch and Noi to share a bath. They end up exploring a... softer side of their relationship, contrasting their typically only physical dynamic.

In a dimension called Oaksariaha, Prince Ash of Daemos and his knights, Leif, Noi, Pierce, and Rhys, retrieve the last human soul in their world to use its magic. With the aid of Ash's Grandmother, Lady Darya, they open a portal to Earth. Once on Earth, the group meets a human named Ava who they take as their hostage or at least their informant. They decide to reside in Ava's apartment while they become more acquainted with Earth. Ava accepts their presence, with the hopes that they'll eventually leave her alone. Over time the Daemos become reluctant to kill her and Ava begins to dread their inevitable departure. (Oak-sari-ah)

Noi was a young daemos who was labeled as an outcast for being kind. His parents sold him to the Royal Family to pay off their depts and would have been killed if the prince hadn't made him a knight. Despite his 'weakness', he never stopped extending a hand to those who needed help.
On one faithful mission to save the magic on Daemos, these two souls meet. They both still carry scars and are in need of healing, during that time they start to form feelings for each other.
