After being approached by the newly crowned Queen Hinoka of Hoshido, Hinata finds himself given charge of the border realm Satsuma, which contains the unique quality of having a calm and large crossing between the two kingdoms of Nohr and Hoshido. Asked to bring order and prosperity to a ravaged land, he seeks to make up for his failure in protecting his lord in battle. He is not alone however, with a Nohrian contingent lead by the Nohrian princess Corrin looking to help bridge the gap between the nations and another more personal reason for the princess.
