It wasn't long before the sound of crunching snow could be heard outside and the dragging of something heavy. Oh Gods, did he carry the body all the way back here? Just to boast? The door opened and she braced herself to stare back at the master who brought her here. Instead...it was not Baldur, but the bearded man. Not a single scratch coated his skin, and his gaze met hers just as she opened her mouth to speak. Only a soft sound squeaked from her though as the man lunged forward, his hand going to her throat as he shoved her against the wall of the cabin. Instinctively, her nimble fingers covered his own and her vision blurred, mouth agape trying to find the words.
"Who are you?" he huffed through his nose, still seemingly out of breath from his battle with Baldur.
"You...d-defeat-defeated h-him-" she choked, trembling under the weight that he pressed against her ruthlessly. "P-Please-" His hold on her loosened only slightly and she sucked in a breath, her mouth drying. Close up, he was even more rugged, a thick scar masking over his right eye. Crimson tattoos marked the white of his skin- a pearly white what looked...unnatural. But now wasn't the time for questions.

Summary
Kratos feels a mysterious call to Egypt and, fearing for his son's safety, sets out in search of him. Upon arrival, he discovers that the land is engulfed in a war between the Medjai and the Sons of Seth. As a member of the Council of Realms, he cannot interfere directly, but he soon senses the hidden influence of a goddess in this conflict.
Meanwhile, Atreus meets a new and enigmatic friend, whose secrets seem as deep as Egypt's own mysteries. He decides to pause his search for the Giants to better understand what is happening—only to realize that forces far greater than he imagined are at play.
The inevitable reunion between father and son leads them to fight alongside the Medjai against the Sons of Seth. But when Kratos finally uncovers the truth, everything changes: his long-lost daughter has forged a new identity and become part of this war.
Now, Kratos is not only battling the war around him but also the one within. Can he still save her, or is it already too late?

After Ragnarok, Freya and Kratos (and occasionally Mimir) set out to dispatch any remaining threats to the realms and end up on an accidental (and probably very long) journey of self-discovery instead. Slow moving or next to no plot tbh, I just love these two dummies and want them to kiss.
