It's happening again.
The death of her home, her family, her soul, exploding in a myriad of bright, blinding colours. Her hands shaking against the reinforced glass of her pod, tears streaming down her flushed cheeks as she cries, sobs wracking through her body. Her small fists bang against the image of her planet through the glass. She hurriedly looks in front of her, looking for the last part of her that is still alive, Kal-El's pod, drifting through the darkness of space, on its way to their new 'home'. She shifts her hands before her, taking in the sight of her cousin's pod. 'I have to make sure he's okay, he's my responsibility now,' she repeats to herself. Just as she began to feel a small amount of solace in her new purpose, she felt a bang at the back of her pod, looking back. As she turns to find Kal-El again, she finds herself alone; he's nowhere to be found.
She's alone.
She's. Alone.Kara gasps as she wakes in her bed, her National City apartment dark- save for the lights in her kitchen. Her hands grasp at her chest, clothes feeling too tight, too wet, clinging to her skin that has a slight sheen of sweat. She sits in her bed, head spinning.
She's still alone. -

Unfortunately, her plan is thrown out the window when a mysterious villain splinters Supergirl’s form into several clones, each one holding a different aspect of the Maiden of Might.
