So seeing the dark, crimson red that pumped rapidly out of his orange banded brother was making him sick. It didn't belong there. The heavy rainfall made it trail down his arm quickly. Droplets of blood quickly dribbling down three green fingers. (Ch.1 insight)

Summary
Selfishly speaking, helping Raph was a piece of cake by comparison. It was fact-based, there was an objective, something to prove and an easy way to do it. It still sucked, obviously, especially when Raph had worked himself into a frenzy by the time he asked for help, pressing the heels of his hands into his eyes like something might sprout out to devour him whole and pushing away anyone who touched him, but look. Every now and then, being able to actually help was nice. It made Donnie feel less helpless throughout this whole thing. So when Leo knocked on the frame of his already-opened door, wearing an expression that told him all he needed to know, Donnie wasn’t happy to help, that was the wrong word, but it was one of the less daunting tasks in the wake of the, well, apocalypse. A task with a beginning and an end, one that wasn’t an uphill battle.

Or: Things are messed up after the Krang. Everyone is dealing with their own stuff, but Raph got the brunt of it, and no one's really sure what to do.

A Space Arc psychological thriller that turns into a bit of a mystery thriller towards the end. Plot oriented, suspenseful whump, not graphic but definitelly not for the faint of heart or someone who is easily triggered by dark themes.
