A moody retrospective Sparrow/Reaver fic set directly after Sparrow's death at a vague point prior to Fable 3, in which Reaver's regrets and his relationship with Sparrow are explored.
As he walks up the path to the manor, his gaze is drawn against his will to the gazebo on the lake. Something soft and pathetic clenches in his chest. A stupid waste of money. At least he'd made it all back from charging others to hold their weddings there. Nevermind the personal touches: carved birds on the railing, roses planted around it. They're just decorative now.
He'd be holding the ring now, too. If only he hadn't thrown it into the lake.

Since her undertaking as the Lady of Bloodstone a group of ne'er-do-wells have made it clear their objections to the improvements to the town. Pairing this with the infamous pirate king returning for an unknown reason. Sparrow must juggle the responsibilities of keeping the town running, the entertainment of the uninvited guest and find the ones causing her such problems.

The Hero of Brightwall, The Hero Queen, The Rebel Princess, she was known as many things, by many people. But she knew that she was just, Annika. A girl who was afraid of the dark.
That was the one thing she and her brother shared.
She wished she *didn't* walk into that study that morning, and run her fingers over books she vaguely remembered seeing in her childhood when she was allowed up here. Pulled down that aged leather book, and traced over the image of the guild seal, though it was of different design than the one resting on her hip. She shouldn't have opened it up and looked at the large paw print in the corner of the first page, and the bird doodled there.
She sat against that stained glass window, and read.
She knew there was someone who could answer her questions. And she despised it.
She hopes he isn't home.-

Summary
Whoever had stolen the Dark Seal from his own home in the night had most certainly been well informed, whether it be for their own gain or specifically to target Reaver himself. The right thing to do would be to properly, or even appreciatively acknowledge the skills of the burglar, respect their abilities and all that.
Unfortunately, he had found himself outplayed, and if Reaver was anything, he was most definitely a sore loser. He was going to need help with this particular case, and he knew exactly where to get it.

Summary
Reaver can't stand to be around her ever since she went and became a mother on him. He only remains in the castle for the power and prestige of being a member of Her Majesty's inner circle—at least, that's what he tells himself.
But when bandits kidnap a very young Logan, and their ransom note dictates that the boy will be killed if Sparrow herself sets foot outside of the castle, Reaver takes matters into his own hands.
This is a Spreaver fic, but it focuses more on Reaver coming to terms with the fact that he does care about his family, even if he was desperate not to.

Exploring can be tiring on any normal person. But, as well all know, Reaver surpassed being a normal person. His night terror's are getting stronger, and as the time for his sacrifice rolls around again, he must return to Bloodstone to retrieve some poor sod to present to the Shadow Court so that he can be done with this whole business. But when he returns, he receives a surprise visit from an old battle buddy and is informed of Sparrow's current condition and position as Queen of Albion, and said Queen as requested an audience with HIM.
