Summary
Pax has fixed everything the best he possibly could. Everyone's alive again, his world has started to transition to something resembling normalcy, and those he's hurt have, if not forgiven him, at least tried to move forward. Yet, he is still crushed under the weight of his guilt, and when the lure of a broken world he may be able to save extends itself towards him, he takes the bait all too easily.
Niko knows little of the world they've awoken in and even less of the penitent god that accompanies them. But they're grateful for the company, and Pax does genuinely want to keep them safe, so at least they've got that going for them.
And as for Pax's siblings? They have no idea where their brother is and less of an idea what the massive mechanical thing that's just appeared alongside their worlds is, but that's not going to stop them from getting to the bottom of this.

Summary
It's been nearly a year since Niko was finally able to return home, after a long journey which finally ended in them saving a world they weren't even from. Yet, even after so much time has passed, they still haven't forgotten the world they'd saved, and left behind. The God that they had befriended, and who they knew they'd likely never see again, as well as the many other friends they'd made along the way.
Fate is a fickle thing though, and while Niko believed that their journey ended there, with only memories remaining, they'd soon find that life tended to surprise you.
However, they need to be careful, for the rules haven't changed. They still only have one shot... But will it be enough?

So everything had come to pass. Niko was home, and the diligent player even had a way to see Niko again without pulling him from his world. But the strain on spacetime from so many other portals being open causes everything to shatter and reset. We continue where we left off, on a warm morning.
